  1. What's the ~headcount? 15ish? I'm bringin a bag of frozen VT hero snow too. and 4 HT's, cuz that's all i got down here.
  2. I can pick up a couple of those large tin foil pans if needed if that's what tin foil was needed for.
  3. I'll bring solo cups and a bag of charcoal. Utensils are a pain in the ass, pre cut the bagels, a ski pole is adequate to turn sausage shaped meat, and some plastic utensils will fill in the gaps. Really only need one spatula for the eggs and a knife for the bacon. He who brings the pan might just want to bring the utensils.
  4. Got back yesterday, skied a few runs in the morning, things had softened up by 10, then hit the road around noon. Smuggs closing day is 4/20, check out this dood's license plate. Glorious hero and goggletanning day Picture of the monlithic ice boner down the road from my house. They run a sprayer on it all winter and this is the end result. Wold be kinda cool to carve a storage room into the bottom of it and keep beer and stuff in it. Not quite sure why they do it, but I will find out. Lunch for me and the dog under $5 off Mickey dollar menu. Cheddar fried onion burgers with ketchup are pretty good. Gonna try to get back EOMish.
  5. Full on hero snow top to bottom today, sunny and warm, saw some retro gear, onesies and a few youngsters hotdoggin the sterling liftline. Upper lot was full on BBQ and beers. It's what Blue could have been if they were open today, just not as good, lulz.
  6. Mine were 90% dialed in out of the box for alpine, shits to tits today, Fantastic spring conditions right now.
  7. Trek to MT Wash is off today, gonna ski at Smuggs, hoping the sun softens things up a little. 25', bluebird, light wind this AM.
  8. You picked a hell of a weekend for the BC! Cochises blistered you up?
  9. I'll post up here if there's a change of plan and I stay at Smuggs tomorrow
  10. I've skied Stowe 3 times in the past 6? years.
  11. hope you saved yer gas money today. carvable pavement as the temps stayed below freezing skinning today? nice fantasy. May head to Mt. Wash tomorrow.
  12. Sounds about right, might go skinning in the AM, no plan right now
  13. Jay stayed in the all snow zone, 6"+ so far. Smuggs has 4" of mank in the upper lot so far.
  14. Yeah, I was looking at the updated info this AM, totals have backed down a bit, this one is all over the map. My guess is rain in the low lands, mix as you get up to 2000FT and snow above that with the rain line trailing further north as the storm passes through. Looks like N.VT still gets 6 or more. More snow in the forecast for Wednesday. Hoping the roads will be decent by tomorrow afternoon.
  15. We have, we vacation in Philly to take care of her mom. Responsibilities and family takes priority. From Jay's site: Friday March 28th, 2014 | Updated 3:26 pm 35°F Ugh. Hang on folks; we’re in for a bit of a rollercoaster ride the next 48 hours. Three inches of snow this morning, rain this afternoon, sun and forties tomorrow, then umm... over a foot of snow. Seriously, all forecasts are pointing to Jay Peak for the rain snow line, and if it all comes in as snow, then we’re looking at 10 – 20 inches. Woah.
  16. Because I've only been home for a week, and was gone for 2 weeks previously? She misses my awesomeness.
  17. Totals are backing down a little, more promising for over 2000 ft. Still gonna go now that I fanagled a green light from Mrs Moe.
  18. Most likely will be there for sterling to the notch road runs and back bowls, inbounds could be good as well Could be in and around Jay as well depending on the snow line
  19. Anyone over 21 who isn't a fuck up wants to go up for a few days, there's a spare bed or 2. Sun - Friday. PM if interested.
  20. Lookin good, NOAA bumped Smuggs to Jay to 12-20.......BC, headin up Sunday.
  21. Already laid the groundwork for a Sun/Mon departure if I want to go. Got some Smuggs friends reporting back via text. My only concern is the potential for icing and outages. Small window for powder instead of the wet dense and a warm up on Tuesday. Glad I cleaned my roof off the last time, this could be a heavy load.
