Good day for laundry, keeps the water moving thru the pipes. Drain pipe in master bathroom rotted out, and slow drip stained ceiling in foyer, so I got some indoor chores to keep me busy. Winning in 2014.

We go above daytime freezing in Philly starting thursday and remain in the 40/50 range well into next week. Should stay good tempwise in the LV for snowmaking.

I got back from VT on Saturday, up since 6AM packing, 9 hour drive, get home around 7PM, wife is getting sick with cold or flu, unpack the food, then fire up the snow blower, make 3 passes down the driveway and suck in the weekly circulars. Thing is jammed in so tight I had to use a combination of torching, macheteing and handsawing for 45 minutes to get it out. Then got up early to icy roads, went to MIL house to plow her drive. Felt like a hero until I woke up this morning. Rain washed everything away. Looks like 2014 is staarting where 2013 left off. Not winning.

-22 in the Mansfield area this AM. That's advanced coldness right there.

Nothing now in Philly except overcast. Obviously, a slow day here for me staring out my office window commenting on 3 flakes I just saw drifting by. Was thinking about going up to Doylestown today to watch a Roller Derby tourney, but a toilet tank issue popped up at mom's house.

Very very light snow falling in the past 20 minutes in NW Philly, I think its just above freezing tempwise, so I expect to see some sneet and maybe rain as the day progresses.

Post up or PM if you make plans to go out there, I'm bringing gear back the next time around. If I'm in the flats, I'm intrigued enough to make the journey if the timing is right.

Cheer up, its snow and it ain't raining and its before Xmas. Much to cheer about for an early season. Only a few inches needed to float.
