  1. Pre-season and spring are always a good time.
  2. yup. these are the ones that operate up to -32 below zero efficiently heatwise. They also garnered the most rebates from the dealer, state and the electric company as well. Getting close to $700 back. My beef with the installation has to do with the footings for the stands outside. The lack of footings is a better description. They make little pyramid shaped piles of stone and set the stand on that. WTF. I considered mounting them on the foundation outside, but the dealer cautioned that we might hear the vibration through the walls. Oh, so they vibrate? And you want to put the stand on top of a pile of pebbles? So, I yanked some pavers out of the driveway and told them to reinstall with the pavers. I've run both the heat and the A/C and they seem to do the job.
  3. I had 2 Mitsubishi electric Heater/AC/Dehumidifier units installed last week. Should be able to keep the house comfortable if we get another swampy scorcher like last summer. Having the option to run dehumidification only wil prolly do the trick most days.
  4. Solid trip so far. The dood would approve.
  5. Jay delivered close to six inches for yesterday's open and a corny, mashy blue sky day today. Winning. Tram pic and my buddy Jack.
  6. Shot at 6-10" overnight at Jay. Heading up there in the AM, Wed as well. Law school buddy and his daughter are coming in for a few days. She's visiting UVM and we'll get a chance to ski some deepness. Snowing here at the house. Mercy!!!!

Smuggs is open this week, then closes weekdays next week and re-opens for the final weekend with the 21st as the last day. We'll be heading back around the 25th. Going out west is just a dream for me.
