Smuggs dropped over a million in snowmaking improvements which was up and running for the season last year.

we're heading back thursday, we had a lot of rain for the past week so I couldn't put a sealer on the deck as planned. That'll have to wait until the spring. got wood delivered and stacked this past weekend and ran the heater, charged the snowblower battery, so I think we're ready for winter.

So I stop off to get gas about 3 miles from my house. I'm driving up my street and I hear a noise on the roof and happened to look out the rear view mirror and see something bouncing on the street. I immediately stop, reverse, get outta the car and find my Iphone gel in the middle of the road sans phone. I looked around for about 5 minutes and happened to see a glimmer on the side of the road about 30 feet up the road. Yep, it was the iphone, with a tiny scratch and fully functional. I was going to start a thread "Dumb shit we do", but I could fill pages.

I have a bathroom and kitchen to remodel over the winter, we are considering renting the VT house on a day/weekly basis next year, so I need to make a few improvements. I'm content with my Smuggs pass and hiking for turns in areas I haven't explored yet nearby. Prolly a few trips to Jay, but nothing outside of New England. If I happen to run across a voucher/dealio for lift tix at some other resort up there, I'll consider it. If an early storm hits anywhere within 9 hours on the EC, I'll prolly go. I really enjoy the pre-november turns to make the season feel longer. A trip to canada isn't out of the question. My concern is where gas prices are going this season. I seriously hope Barry waffles and avoids bombing some other asshole country in the mideast and we might see a drop in oil back under 100/bbl pretty quick. I try to find them for under 20, now's a good time to start finding some deals at the end of the season.
