Is there anything else to wear? What pisses me off is how much flip flops cost these days, I'm always rummaging around for deals to stock up on them.

I've been firm with the $1 offer for years.
-
Yeah, I got the hybrid last year and got it again for this season. Picking it up next week, we're heading back up for a coupla weeks.
-
It's been a quiet hurricane season for the EC this year, that's a nice break from previous coupla years.

Those look pretty sweet. I got my season pass for Smuggs, no gear purchases so far, but need to get boots, the Cochises I bought have too much slop in them and new liners won't help.

I heard the new Wendy's Pretzel burger is awesome.

What's the status on the moose mascot?

Yeah, all in all, I'll take a rainy spring, a few weeks of hot and the current conditions. A little more heat next week, but August is half in the bag and Fall is 4 weeks away. Was up in VT last month and it was sub 50 a few nites up there, even had a few fires going inside at nite. Mrs. Moe was treated to roasted marshmellows and hotdogs over the outside firepit and claims its the best tasting dog she ever had. She's still got a lot of catching up to do with the great outdoors. West Virginia was the EC first turns of the season the last 2 years.

Your season ender completely crushed my season ender. Thanks, dood.

Sounds good, hopefully we'll have another good snowfall next year.

Livin the dream, good to see you healed up quick for spring skiing. Maine is such a long f'in drive, even from my house in VT its about 4.5 hours.

Awesome, Mike, more good memories right there! I had a chance to go with a few folks this last trip up there, but the crew heading up was way outta my league for that. I need a crew of fat midaged wheezy guys for a good match. And a sled.

Not done, but I had to set some limitations on how to spend the ski dollars. If the poconos had gotten some serious natural snow I would've saddled up for a ride somewhere. Manmade groomies, not so much. Hey, I drove to WV twice in 3 years, so I'm always game if conditions are right. I managed to get a pretty good season in all things considered. I definitely did miss an occasional midweek trip up to Blue or Elk between VT trips, but that's the discipline.

was pretty magical. Got up there last Friday and skied lift served Sat/Sun. Sunday was the final day at Smuggs and it was quite the sight. Woke up early to a light covering of dense snow/sneet on the deck and that ended up being a coupla inches up high. It continued to snow, sneet, styrofoam ball and on the ride home that afternoon, faceted ice diamonds filled the windshield. Everything was filled in, soft and fun. Hiked up Sterling and Madonna on Mon/Tues in shorts and long sleeved tee enjoying peel away corn and creamed corn/mank by late afternoon. . A memorable end to this season.

Nice way to bookend the season.

SCamelback's really changed since I used to rent a place up there. If they build that hotel (have they started yet?) maybe they'll get a casino license and pack the joint with slot machines and bus in the silver heads. Awesome ski stoke!
