I don't know when they changed, even if they changed before the season started, it isn't something that got a whole lot of coverage, and when I bought the flex pass, I assumed Friday counts. If there was some change notice, I didn't see it. I have less of a problem with them jerking us for weekend rates on Friday, and more of a problem that they didn't meet us half way for this one occasion.

I was tempted to go up saturday, and tell them now its a weekday.

Here's the rub. They wouldn't let us pay the difference between the weekend price and our flex pass price, and then deduct a day off the flexpass. So fair warning, Friday rates are now weekend rates.

Such a shitty way to end a legendary career.

Blue informed us last Friday that they redefined Friday, it is no longer a weekday. Everybody get that memo?4 day work week, 3 day weekend??? Maybe next year, they'll redefine a day as 18 hours, and an hour is 45 minutes. End rant. But that is some serious bullshit.

I'm thinking of mounting new skis with Dukes/Barons and Plums, I have the inserts, but would prefer someone with experience to drill them in. Any recommendations for shops that would install them locally? I can prolly do it myself, but I'd rather avoid the learning curve and buying epoxies/tools for something that I won't be doing that frequently and be stuck with unused products. I'm going to ask the guy I know at REI and see if he'll do it, although I can already hear the liability issue.

Welcome to my world a few years ago. When it came time for stent removal and the Doc thought he was gonna do it in the office, I laughed at him and made him schedule anesthesia. Luckily, he was able to schedule it within about a week. Yeah, snake some object outta my peehole with a dab of lidocaine. F THAT!!! Bad news: I think I'm rockin another stone, been getting that sensation again.

Yeah, it takes me a while to get tarting, but it beats retarting. Nice to finally see some better conditions up north!

If they had gotten some decent early snow like last year, I would've gone down in a heartbeat. It is fun just to check out new areas and see what's up.

I went for a few days after a big dump the 1st week of December last year before the season really started. I spent 95% of the time skiing Sawmill and Sawmill glades due to poor and confusing signage and ropes which kept everyone off except me for the most part. I checked out a few of the other trails as well. Moslty intermediate level stuff. Their Western Territory area is prolly the most challenging but was not open when I was there, I hiked up about 1/2 way and skied down Culp's my last day because the snow was untracked. I wouldn't waste my time driving there unless they got some serious snow and the NE doesn't. It's pretty isolated and there's nothing there other than the resort establishments.

50th & Baltimore???? West Philly? Last time I went to Dock Street Brewery it was in center city. Yeah..........that long ago, lol.

I'll prolly be too broke to ski. No plans for an SP at this point.

Haha!! I'll be walking thru the place once I get a home inspection set up. Place was built in 1988, my limited electrical experience tells me the panel is fine. The guy that owns it is ex military and used to patrol at the bush. Seemed like the knd of guy that wouldn't mess around with bad electrical hook ups. Thanks, I got the check out to Barb and I emailed the info to a friend who was interested in the lift ticket deal as well.

Let's see if they take the offer first. I'm bidding at a fair price, imo. After looking at a lot of properties, this one pretty much fits the bill as far as size, location, pretty much move in condition, lay out, etc. I'll be doing most of the legwork and have an attorney on board to review docs and do the title search/insurance. and if it goes thru, I'll get some PASR's up there for a weekend.

I'll let you know once the sellers sign off on the agreement, I'm still putting that together, should have it out by the end of the week. It's in the Cambridge area.

I have to agree, I wouldn't have made the trip up simply to hit K, but it was on the way home and woulda been foolish not to get some runs in while I was up there. We ended up staying at the Stowe Mountain Lodge which is pet friendly so we brought the dogs with us. It's a super nice resort and the amenities are 1st class. Mrs Moe and I found the house we want and are in the process of pulling the trigger on it. Stoke levels are rising once again.

I got 6 runs in before heading home yesterday. About a 10 minute wait in the single line.

I've meant to go for the past few years but end up at Elk every time. Maybe Sno should try and compete with a top park scene unless they already have one since Elk doesn't have much offer.
