Booked one nite at the T-Bar Saloon, dog walker is secured, so I'm headin up early tomorrow for a PM session and skiing Thurs/Friday. T-Bar Saloon owner told me they got over 6" already with another ~10-15"by tomorrow.

Hoping that happens for Blue, right now they're calling for a rain event down here, maybe some sleet.

I was looking at the snow watcher page on TWC.com, but I just pulled up the NOAA weather alerts which make more sense. The Moe-tel is mothballed for the time being, I'm needed at home, so day trips are about the only way to go for me, unfortunately. I'm hoping in a week or 2, Mrs. Moe will be able to handle things on her own so I can get out for some 2-4 day trips. I've got cash, no kids, no job, 10 pairs of skis and I can't go anywhere. Fahk me.

Yeah, this one could be a buzzkill with the ice in the forecast, I think I'll sit tight and just watch this develop and how the roads/powerlines are afffected. Elk and Catskills are forecasting 6-15". Oddly, the VT forecast is 2-4" right now.

Generally, you can drive up to the mid lodge to drop off food and gear, then park you're car in the lower lots. Depending on when you go, sometimes the parking lot guys will ask for your driver's license to go up there to make sure you bring your car back down.

ended up being a clogged fuel line and crap in the carb. Kind of a blessing, cuz my first instinct this morning was to 4WD thru the driveway snow, ski at Blue, then come back and blow out the driveway. Luckily, I called our local True Value store that's got a repair shop and Bob the mechanic said I'd be first in line if I dropped it off. I had the trailer hitched up, the blower loaded and got it to the shop in bout 15 minutes, lol. Best $90 I spent in a while. Bummed I missed out on the morning session. My dad's coming up today, maybe I'll talk him into a day up at Blue. I'll break out the tele gear and ski the greenies with him if he's game. About 15-18" here, I might have to go out in the woods around here in the morning if I can't make it to blue tomorrow.

Fuck me in the ass, got about 1/2 way thru clearing my driveway and the blower conked out. Any suggestions? It ran fine this AM, then just petered out. If I restart it and keep hitting the primer knob it runs, once I stop priming, it stops.

So far it's been impressive looking, but as GSS said, moisture content is compacting this down to a few inches around here so far. Zero blower material.

I'm listening to KYW, and the clusterfuck reports are rolling in. There's a whole stretch of highway in Bucks county near Doylestown that a solid sheet of ice and cars are sliding off it.

Going to try to go in the AM thursday, gonna get up early and check what winds are like, I'd hate to trek up there if the lifts aren't turning.
