Gonna hold off until Friday AM, I don't think we'll see much accumulation until Thursday afternoon/evening.....

I can deal with germs, they're invisible. Ass hair? No thanks..........as it turns out, that teeny bar of soap remain unused after the first shower. And they never replaced it with a new bar.

I picked up an XC set up for about $220, pretty basic gear and I like the ability to walk out the door and start sliding within a few minutes from the house when its snowing, nite or day time.

The lodge, condos and amenities are great, but they fail on some of the smaller stuff. Dumb shit like getting their lobby coffee service up and running at 7AM, they never got it running on time. Or advertising that toiletries are included in the condos. We showed up and there was one tiny bar of Aveda soap for 2 guys. I ended up using the fitness center shower because it was huge, unused, next to the sauna/whirlpool and had jugs of shower gel and shampoo. Not a big fan of sharing soap..... Back from a fun trip to T-ride, bookended with fresh pow on Sunday (6-9") and Friday (10-15"). A few dustings in between. Weather was near perfect mid 20's to 30's for a high. Stayed at Bear Creek Lodge, nice lodging and convenient location. Got home at 3AM this morning and feeling under the weather from being around sneezers and coughers on the plane. Here's a few pics....I'll post up some more later. All the shots posted are off lift 12 hiking up to ski Black Iron Bowl and Palmyra Peak. some of the better snow midweek was to be found there.

No point looking at it until yer 72 hours away.

Seriously, if I drive up there tomorrow or some other time and for whatever reason the lifts aren't turning, I assume they don't want anyone on the hill. Is that the case?

Check the website and/or call in the AM. Edit: What's the deal with Blew if for the unlikely reason they have a wind delay or some other reason not to open? Do they send the gestapo out if you try to hike there? Are there any hikeable alternatives nearby?

Started snowing in Philly.

I'm a definite unless the roads are solid ice. Can't wait to see what kinda precip we get, wet mank or fluffy goodness. Prolly a mix. It's all good.

FIFY. 6 feet would be pretty rad, though.

I got a boatload of stuff to do today, but I'm keeping the weekend wide open, trip to Blew and/or JF, maybe some trees in the park, check out the Wiss Ski hill, XC, maybe even Johnny Law's secret stash at Rebel Hill. The possibilities are endless. YEAH!!!!!!!! Seriously hope that the Pokes finally get a legit hit this time around.

Prolly gonna head up to Blew or JF Thurs AM, I gotta get up by 5AM anyway to drop the gals off at the airport, figure I'll swing up north for an AM session. Any bumpage on Nightmare/Challenge? How're the trees at JF?

No idea, but it seems unusual that so many of them were messed up at the same time. Bend the keys? Crazy glue? Kids get pretty creative when it comes to destruction.
