Stoke! LB looks sick! It's nice to ski a real mountain once in a while.

I have an open invitation, but they've had no snow until Mon. They actually gave snow making a shot earlier this year, but I think they scrapped that idea, lol. They have lites for the lift side run, and there's a parallel run on the otherside of the trees. They ski that during daylite, then save the lift run for nite skiing, snow permitting.

They were demoing next season's skis, Rossi was there, too. They had a pair of Phantoms, but somebody had dibs on em already.

I'll be getting UTAHrded, take some gaper day pix for the board.

I took a ride past my property this AM and took a coupla pix of the ski hill, lift and lodge.
-
PS. Ski reps were at the mountain today, Blizzard, Head, Elan, Volkl?, maybe one other. Primarily for shops, but customers were allowed to demo between 12-2. Anyone from here repping today?

The mountain was white, the sky was Blue We got their by 9, we left there by 2. The 6 pk was cranking, the sugar was sweet Razors cookies sucked big time, Sidewinder's a treat Challenge was primo, Barney's bumps were hard they softened by lunchtime, so we shredded their gnar. The drive home was boring, we lunched at WaWa Now I'm back at my crib, and I'm hittin my spa.

THat's a pretty good price for a season pass. I'll offer $359 now for a season pass for the 10/11 season. At that rate, they'll owe me a free one for the 15/16 season, roflmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Props to BC for putting down some fresh snow. Now all we need is a tectonic event to add 800-1000 ft of vert. j/k

They're trying to lure folks there for season passes, more $$$, more bodies in the shops. I think the new owners are doing everything they can to boost the bottom line so they can flip it in a few years.

Got back last nite after a great wed and thurs session. Truly amazing snow this time around. We met a groomer from Sugarbush (Sean) who told us he'd hook us up with a ride on the groomer the next time we come up there. I'm trying to get some pix downloaded off the Treo but the software is f'in up. I might have to email them to myself and then post em up.

Quick update, we're back at the Hydeaway Inn, they have a public computer. Yesterday was f'in amazing. Bush North was closed due to high winds and South opened a few lifts later in the day. We got the word that MRG was opening the 2 doubles so we bolted over there by 9:30. The line on Lift 2 was at least an hour wait so we did 7 runs off the little double then spent the rest of the day on the other double. Once the crowds dispersed the wait was under 7 minutes. Snow was coming down steady and everything was nirvana, shin deep and higher. Legs were toast by 3:30, we headed back to Sugar Lodge, hot tubbed and went to the Hydeaway. It was in the weeds so we headed down to John Egan's for dinner and made it back to the room for "24", and passed out. Today was sick, skied Sugarbush from 8:20 til 3:30, spending the morning on Heaven's gate and the afternoon on Castlerock. Middle earth was magical. Can't post up pix til I get back. Back at the Hydeaway tonite, today was blue skies and sun, mid 20's. 10- 15mph winds. The SNOW IS AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!!! Hucked a coupla 3 footers, I was duly impressed. Took one full frontal ejection, and 3 other nice spills today. Had to tighten up the DIN. Dinner: Last nite: Spicy chix marinara with pepperoni, cherry peppers, linguini and mozz. Pretty damned good. Swithcbacks and a cabernet w/ dinner. Dark & Stormy's back in the room.

Left at 7:30AM, checked in at 3, drinking by 4, picked up some new gloves and sox, Sunday sushi at the Hydeaway. Snow is picking up, gonna hit 3" an hour by nitefall, sky's the limit into Monday. Wind is a factor, we'll decide where to ski in the AM. Hope the Pokeys got something.

I got one from Mbike-ski church group. He was making them available to us last fall. Edit: http://www.paskiandride.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12242

In 10 years, that 1000 will be worth a nickel adjusted for inflation. Memories are priceless.

I got 4 visits left on my pass, so hopefully I can do some PASR runs midweek with you guys before the season ends at Blue. I'd still like to hit Sno once this season, too.

Pulled into the Main lodge lot around 8:20 to slight fog, 34 degrees, booted up inside and headed to the Main Street lift first. Did a run down Barney's and they were softening up. Headed over to the 6pk as the fog was clearing and the sun was burning thru. Alternated runs down razor and Barney's which got better and better conditionswise nice smooth mash potatoes, blue skies, 0 crowds all morning. Did one Dreamweaver run, eh. Then spent the rest of the day lapping Razors and Challenge with a few more Barney's bumps tossed in for good measure. They were a lot of fun, nice and soft. Runouts really slowed you down so you needed a head of speed to get thru them. Skied until about 2:15 and called it a day. Wind was picking up, clouds were moving in and a few flakes started falling as we left. UA and shell was plenty of layer today. Should still be pretty sweet for any afternooners today.

I saw the ones on Sierra but they only had the 172's.
