  1. Eatons are the way to go. Cheap, quiet, efficient, durable. A LOT of guys over on snowguns.com use them. Some pretty impressive shit over there- i'm sure you know.
  2. A jump line With 3 tabletops would be sweet
  3. Well look at it this way. Present Gaper: "look at that narrow jump before that rail" Gaper2: "we'll have to go off the side of that one , just to make sure we don't hit it" Wider lips Gaper: "wow, there's a lot of room to go off of that jump straight" Gaper2: "i think we'll clear the rail fine" You can start with a narrow lip, and have the idiots narrow it by riding over it, like we do now. I think if the Lips were a lot wider, even if they did make it narrower, there would still be a decent lip. And if they do decide to use it the wrong way, they don't have to really go off the side, but instead they can go straight off of it. Granted, it's wrong, but at least the features will stay somewhat nicer... If the good idea is to make narrow lips, and it isn't so great- look at what everyone else is doing. Big Boulder to name a few...
  4. Let's get a list going about what could be improved for when sidewinder. My main concern is the lips for the rails. Wider is better. Let's see what other people think....
  5. Toast measured it with his skis last year. Maybe you're so good, jumps seem smaller than they are?
  6. Yeah, stupidass big boulder hiring people to design and make kick ass jibs. BB just hired them for the project you're saying? Just make the rails, and bounce? Idk where you're pulling this, but from my discussion with shawn, they planned on being there for quite a while. Park logic isn't a company dude, it's a group of people who made rails at bb, and named themselves park logic to promote business. Oh, and that analogy was fucking awesome. I'm sure it's super relevant and everyone understands it. and this topic was made by someone in the bc forum. IT was about blue, so don't go bitching people out for responding in "the wrong forum"
  7. Well? JfBB are the same, just because i forgot JF
  8. Werd.
  9. Seriously, i'm making a poll

My one friend said blue's not reopening. I think (and hope) it's total bullshit. He said it's "$60,000" to blow snow for one night. Horseshit.
  11. That empty bottle is recyclable... a penndot road worker will pick it up and you'll be drinking out of it again soon. That's more helpful to the environment than the oil and shit required to make another. a small penis? Global Warming doesn't concern me. There's nothing i can do to stop it, and i'm not convinced that it isn't natural. whatever...
  12. Idk, what i've seen from bear is nice, but i still think jlpl has better shit. But then again,i haven't seen much from bear. Who cares, just hit the rails, they don't have to be flawless. I hope they put it up again- that was really nice
  13. BUT.. what about the steezy mofo 8ft higher wallride? Surely that flattens the competition.
  14. Let ski explain this....
  15. Any pictures. Not pictures so much, but just to hike around and check things out how they were years ago. The name i was trying to remember i just found on the last page you sent- mount aire lodge- i couldn't remember the name.
  16. . They never said anything about the rail jams or the boardercross. If anything, they're gonna get pushed back. And the rail jam was march 25th or so last year, what makes you think it's gonna be sooner this year? Damn rob, come on dude
  17. Does anyone know of any abandoned ski areas in PA? Names, Addresses? I'm trying to find some good picture-taking spots.
  18. you sound like a perfect example of why the parks at blue get shitty and unsafe. "I like to ski through the park, using the jumps and rails as slalom gates. Sometimes, when i'm really pushing the edge, i hit the small jumps with the rails in the way" ...Sorry if i'm off, but people like so piss me off. You are wayy too high. The guy from jfbb was right, for the most part. BB probably has the best park around here, and probably will. Blue's not perfect by any means, but with more and more park interest, things are only bound to get better. Once blue gets into a steady rhythm, things will improve. As far as jfbb being the best on the east coast, i'm not really sure, seeing as i haven't honestly ridden many other parks on the east coast.
  19. Was this serious? like, did you honestly mean that? Maybe on spring days you really needed the speed from that turn, but on normal hardpack days that wasn't an issue- just ask rodeo steve- he's hit that jump hundreds of times. Just because you couldn't hit it doesn't make it horrible. Seriously, where the hell do you get off saying this shit? Sidewinder isn't even open yet you dosh. Once that opens, along with more of the mt, there will be less park flow, and park crue's work will be nicer. They'll put more work into shit that's not gonna get all fucked up in 2 minutes. Like now- their work is screwed minutes after they rake it. Stick to all mt? that's pretty cocky. Money in mountains is in the parks nowadays. The park scene is huge. Why would they relatively consider closing the option for the added revenue that parks will draw in? The bus is gonna be bad? tell me what color shirt i'm wearing, mr. cleo Blue's not really stuggling. Granted the coverage is diminishing, they can't really be struggling to get snow on a trail that isn't even a priority at this point in the game. Blue's different. They have a lot more mountain to cover before moving on... it's always been this way.
  20. Check out nitro maybe? Idk. I'm looking into one. I've heard soft, and stiff reviews on it- i'll have to see for myself. But i know they have some stiffer ones- i think the t2 is stiffer than the t1 i'm looking at. Maybe a ride DH? Little stiffer than the rome agent, but still jibbable. I'm not great with gear- i just know what i've witnessed.
  21. Call the company- warranty that highback. There's no reason it should have broken under normal riding conditions...
  22. It was pretty icy up there tonight. I had a few park runs, and a few easy out vista runs. met up with dbag (shadows) after work. We did the old switcharoo- i used his skis, he used my board. I'm really diggin this whole ski thing- i don't feel that i'm that bad on them. Dbag got the hang of my board pretty quick, did the butter box and did half of a shifty on the jump. Not great, but i'm happy to be riding. I'm content with hiking an alright box setup in shitty conditions.
  23. Not sure how legit this is, but i'm gonna be busy saturday.
  24. Yeah, what steve said :chea: :chea:
  25. Next time i try a backflip, i'll get a pic- just for you.
