  2. Hey guys, blue's blowing a lot of snow. Pretty soon we'll have sidewinder opened up. But on a serious note of things, maybe this stair system will prove to be a great idea this season. That way we can have all of the rails and hits manicured... and have them stay that way.
  3. ahahaha
  4. Oh, missed that. Blue should get me up there building rails. ...and i gotta finish some for a box that i've been working on for a few months. . . good thing i'm checking this topic out..
  5. I like how everyone's comparing Big Boulder's park to a park that ISN'T EVEN OPEN YET. Yeah, boulder has had better luck weather-wise for snowmaking, but then again look at the acerage. Boulder has A LOT less area to cover. Add that to the fact that they have high-output fanguns on most of the mt, it's no wonder that they have the better snow. At blue, there's actually mountain to cover, which unfortunately comes first. A lot of people are complaining about come around, but what can we do? I've been to blue 17 days, and i'm still having fun in that park. But anyway, sidewinder should be a lot better this year. There's more drive than ever to get the park in top notch shape, and i have no doubt that it'll be a blast. Big boulder's also a blast. Everyone looks at terrain parks from a competition aspect. You have to look at them for what they are- not what they aren't. If you go into something with a negative attitude, it'll suck. Make the best of what you have. Look foward towards the differences. If every mountain was the same, what fun would that be? As far as the jib quality at blue... The rails/boxes may not look as nice as the jibs at creek or boulder, but the construction is solid. Through my summer hikes at blue, scoping out the rails and everything, be assured that whoever's making them is doing a great job. Who ever said they did, or were even relatively trying to?
  6. So wait... they killed saddam?
  7. yup
  8. I just saw the new blue commercial. Anyone else see it?

    Good idea?

Maybe this could help out some of our mountains- buildingthe jumps before the snow comes. Sure, it'll limit changing shit around, but it would also help a lot with the shitty weather we get around these parts....
  10. Sweet, so next time i head up to jfbb, i'll call megan and have her scoop me up a ticket from the park.
  11. haha, seriously. Let's start bitching about shawnee too.
  12. I think that this weekend the park was maintained very well. Park crue was out there both days pretty much all day making sure it wasn't shitty. For the snow that they have to work with, i think they're doing great. As far as midday grooming goes- they could park the groomer between come around and main street, closing the park once and a while. But even so, the good shit sits on top of the icy shit, and it just gets kicked aside until all that's left is icy snow. If you're not liking blue, you don't have to go there. You're arguing like you want your money back or something- what were you expecting with this weather? It's been shitty for everyone, and i think blue's doing a pretty good job.

  14. THey are blowing snow. Thank GOD! There is hope for the season.......kinda. But that made my day
  15. "haha" is what everyone said as you ate shit after that
  16. maybe it's different for skiers.... Yeah, that was him ....and that was probably me calling him ....nice meeting you
  17. I'll be there from whenever to 8. I work 2-8 and i'll probably be riding afterwards. And by the way- props to my man Dbag for making parkcrue's myspace
  18. Curb stomp and board slap them upside the face. And to get really serious, even though i'm super against it (as most guys should be) Kick them in the fucking nuts.
  19. Yeah, because paradise definitely isn't a popular beginner trail. We park rats deserve 100% what we want when we want it. Be thankful for what we have- Terrain parks were unheard of at blue until the late 90s. Who? The people who built them. Why? Because it's easy to work with, and works absolutely fine. All of the guys on park crue are 17+ years old you ignant
  20. Just goes to show you that people are scumbags in general and you can't trust anyone. Lock your shit up, or check it. I know the feeling, though it was with skateboards (not as serious). I feel your pain man... Best of luck

    Real quick question

So i asked the guy at blue's repair shop. He said to just call the manufacturer under warranty and say that i ran into a snowgun we'll see....

    Dear Camelback

You have every right to be pissed off. You should have spoken to a manager (sorry if i missed like half of the fine print up there and you did speak to a manager) CB is just a rip

    Real quick question

Internal damage internal shamage. I'm guessing that my edge cracked twice when i dropped that sucker straight on the ground. I know people do edge splices and whatnot, so i'm not too concerned. I'll take it up to the shop at blue later tonight and see what they think. if it's major, and my board is gonna be toast, i'm probably just gonna buy a new one- i deserve it If the board's fine, i'll keep riding it. As far as soakage and freezing go, i'll just make sure that i get it nice and dry before i go out in super cold conditions.. ...maybe i'll just weld my edge back
