Okay, i looked it up to be around 10.5 US. I don't think the boots just would cut it for me. What about pricing minus boots?
-
What size are the skis? Would they be right for 5'7 150 lbs? 28.5 boots...what does that translate into in shoe size? I know it's not exact, but i wear 11.5-12. I'm interested. pics maybe?

If the website doesn't say, it'll probably be like 10 bucks. But i'm pretty sure the website says...

Look into salamon or ride or k2. I think they all use the fusion liners, which reduces the footprint. If they're heat moldable, they will most likely pack out, so you can go smaller yet. I've had 32s, and loved them. The only downside is the size. They are big boots. I'm rocking salamon fdbs right now, and they're awesome.Look into salamon

If there's a race, or training going on, it's fine that racers use the ski school line. That's what the freeriders/skiers do. They're paying a lot extra for the training, so they need to get their money's worth. But if they just hop the line outside of training, then i'd be pissed.

hmm.... you got a camera? I should wear some gaper outfit...

Time for me to check out this place... how is their park?
-
Next time i see you at blue, we'll swap. I won't hit anything in the park, but i can ski alright. just ask dbag....

I keep thinking more and more about getting a set of skis... I think i'm gonna end up buying a set for next season. Where can i find cheap park skis, cheap bindings, and cheap boots. Not totally bottom of the line stuff, but something to get started with. How much should i expect to spend? How does ski sizing work?
-
What is talking gonna do period? Do you think that management made the trails icy on purpose, and ordered some wind? It's called weather dude. If you haven't realized in your x amount of years on this planet, it changes often. Try checking the weather before you head up to the mt.s from now on, i do it all the time!

i disagree. to a point.
-
Where do you get that? What thicknesses and sizes does it come in? And what about pricing? That's the shit they make legos out of, abs.
-
Is that why that side of the teaching hill doesn't have snow?

Go fuck yourself man, When did i ever say anything about looking cool? ...that's what i thought bitch

The white stuff you're looking for is HDPE, or high density polyethylene. Look around for plastic suppliers. Though some require minimum bulk orders, you may be able to find something. WARNING- it's not gonna be cheap. Also, some people are against lexan/plexiglass. If you make your box strong enough though, and have the coping dialed right, plexiglass will work fine. Formica is the shit though. Really nice, and priced reasonably.

Well, Shadows and i had a joint effort on this box: The frame was made out of 2x4s. After that, dan skirted that mofo with whatever plywood he could find. The topsheet is formica, which slides like a dream. The coping was all me. I took 3/4"black pipe, welded it to length, capped the ends, and welded mounting tabs. The box slides awesome. The black pipe was about $10 per 10foot length The formica was $50 for a 4x8 sheet. If anyone's interested in a sick box, shoot me a pm.

Yo dbag,i'll fix your skis! ...it'd be cool to try. If you do get new ones, let me take a stab at fixin em.
-
Yeah, it's not really worth it for me. I know how to take apart my ipods, i know how to plug and unplug connectors. Why pay shipping and a service and an overpriced parts fee? I just wanna buy parts cheap and get running. Thanks though.
-
Because other mountains do it before opening, and after/before closing...
-
Grand prixwhat? Seriously? Doesn't roundtop have a super pipe?
-
but we are both taking two pairs of skis because the park is gonna suck terribly

Before i got my new board, i pushed out my stance to 25. I loved it, and i was pretty bummed out when the stance on my new board (nitro t1) only went to 23 max. I'm considering t nutting my board just to have a wider range of options stance wise. Has anyone here done it before? How is it done? I know drilling/epoxying/ptexing is involved, which i can do. I'm just looking for tips before i totally void my warranty..

I saw it in the theater too... good movie. Kinda boring documentary-style, but good.
-
I think it's 6x1 metric thread. I could be wrong. I'd try fitting the screws without the baseplates to make sure they go in when you have the screw perfectly square. If not, try other screws. Tognar sells them, as do other places i'm sure.

Does anyone have any broken ipods? I have 3 ipods, which are all pretty much broken. I'm trying to find parts for them, so i can get back up and running. I need an iPod mini clickwheel, and a 3rd gen headphone jack. If anyone has anything I may be able to use, let me know. Name your price. It really sucks riding down the mt singing songs in my head like doug.
