  1. Well looks like this weekend will do it. Final day of the season is Sunday the 13th. Wacky final weekend build going down in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Boxzilla, s rail to c box and other goofy stuff yet to be determined. Pondskimming sunday I believe but don't quote me on it.
  2. Throw out skis??? I think I still have the first pair of Blizzards I ever learned to ski on haha.
  3. Sadly enough it might actually be my skis haha. Pretty sure they are 06 chronic wides, and I bought em used. I'm just a slacker though cause I got brand spankin new icelantics still in the plastic waiting on binders.
  4. It isn 't that bad. Ponds have plenty of water, I'm sure we haven't seen the last of snowmaking temps. They will close the same time they do pretty much every year, the weekend before the snowmobile races. They just blew last night and a full build on black bear went down also.
  5. Good, we need it......BAD.
  6. Well I mean, our intention is to make each one better than the last. Gonna see if we have enough snow for some more jump action and they were talking about making some pretty creative features. Not sure what got put in exactly as I didn't actually work the build. Re-racked cascade by leaving some and putting a few new out. I think everything below the mailbox to stairs is staying, they were gonna redo the top of BB.
  7. Word on the street is another build went down last night.
  8. Well I guess that's out then. How about this blue knob place? Anybody been there recently? 1000 vert? How this has flown under my radar for so long is beyond me. Now that I'm living west of Reading though it looks like not a terrible drive.
  9. Wow, pretty packed. Wonder what it looked like over at F chair. I won't make it in til thursday, should be all packed down by then.
  10. Gotta have at least 24-30 in the reading area. Spent the better part of two days shoveling. Didn't bother to measure exact snowfall, it was deep though.
  11. So is this place members only or is the skiing and riding open to the public?
  12. For some reason I always see snow geese flying over Bear Creek, happens several times a season. We saw an owl swoop over the trails during the night a week or two ago as well.
  13. Pretty sure it's the same pitch, they just start from about halfway down the hill now instead of the top. May have made the bottom runout longer too, I'm not sure about that. Wonder if they will start the cardboard races from the top still.
  14. If it's that bad you can always go north on 100 into shimerville and take a left at the light there, I think it's less of a straight uphill that way. I used to take huffs church just to avoid all the gapers driving up state st. from turkey hill. I didn't get out today, watching the step son and shoveling. we found out on the drive home last night that during my engine swap me and my buddy missed something as I have no 4wd. Knew I should have checked that before this storm.
