  1. Put out two in white this morning, probably do a couple more over lunch and at the end of the day. Gonna test one a little smaller for helmets and such. If any of you asked for one you can pm me your address and I'll send em out as soon as they're done. If you are uncomfortable with giving your addy to a newish member, I could just ship em all to atomicskier in stamped envelopes and let him distribute them.
  2. I also dig the snow bears, haven't seen the one at the bottom yet though. We need to get one of these going next to the yurt, or at least a giant snowman or something.
  3. Bear creek/hereford area last night around 11. maybe another inch on top of that this morning. so when is a real storm coming through.
  4. The leash laws suck down there in the parks. Never been hassled about fishing while on the beach, and I'm quite often boogie boarding and kayaking while the rods in. What is this surf lingo about spots being skunked???
  5. I have never had a problem with the attendants, but as an employee they always let us try and find a spot in the lower stones. Bumps are not a problem as I have a jacked truck. I have been triple row parked in at bear creek a few seasons ago, waited at my car for about an hour and a half before I was able to get out. On the other hand I have been totaled at blue mountain by a lifty doing donuts and sliding out of control. That'll ruin your drive up to the mountain trust me.
  6. Brushed about 2-3 inches of light fluff off the truck this morning, I'm right down the road from Bear Creek. Sled and snowboard runs in the backyard tonight wooohooo
  7. You renegade Right Coaster you
  8. Never on the first date nick. Now please take your stink talk into a blue mountain thread or something. I'm trying to get sticker shit figured out here. How many do ya want by the way, I know your totally ready to rep your favorite ski site out there in CO. I'll make a special large one out of bauhaus just for you
  9. Testing right now and things are looking good. So far I've gotta make 1 for toast in black(old one sucked with the masking tape so I'll just make ya a good one now that I have the paper). 1 white for Kyle 1 pink for the kitten and a bunch for jfskidan in white(think I'm gonna mix em with glossy and flat as to not use up so much white) some small for helmet. Actually please specify if you are putting it on a helmet cause you might want it a little smaller. As is now they are about 8 inches long by one inch tall. Ride delaware you want one backwards?? specify a font if you want, otherwise I'm making them as the top and bottom one in the picture previously shown.
  10. Shouldn't be a problem at all.
  11. Sheets are 12" x 12", but I can make the stickers any size you want. Also I'll be in this weekend so maybe I can bang a few of em out while I'm hammering razorblades.
  12. Got a preffered font or one from this thread that you liked??
  13. Package arrived today at the workplace. 27 sheets of ROYGBIV vinyl sticker paper in 12" x 12" sheets, looks like I can get about 6-10 stickers from each sheet depending on size and whether I screw them up on the cutter or not. Most colors including black and white also one gold and one silver. Let me know what anyone wants as far as color, font, and size and I will try to accommodate as soon as I can, it might not go down til the new year though as I'm working two shifts tomorrow then park crew all weekend. Toast I still haven't sent yours out yet but probably will tomorrow. Over_it I can probably accomplish some sort of rasta scheme if you want.
  14. I still have all three of those black ones if you want one, shoot me a pm with your address and I'll throw it in a usps box. Otherwise you can wait for a colored one if you like.
  15. Placed the order for colored vinyl and proper adhesive topsheets today.
  16. I don't know much about sno, haven't been there since it was montage actually. It seems to me though that one of their biggest problems is location. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they pretty much farther north than almost every mtn in the pokes, and if you are willing to drive that far doesn't it just make more sense to keep going to elk? I think their layout probably has something to do with it as well, like I said it's been a while though. If I remember correctly it's a couple straight runs at the top and pretty much the same at the bottom. Not exactly a winding or interesting trail system IMO.
  17. Yeah just ask anyone in park crew for Josh, I use white atomics and I'll probably be wearing a backpack. I'm there 7am - 2:30 or so.
  18. If admin is cool with me giving these to people I'll be more than happy to drop them in a mailbox as well. Reminder though this is just a thin vinyl topped with masking tape. I'll probably order some sticker quality vinyl and proper top adhesive sheet on monday. That is if admin wants me to cut a few of these. I was just kidding about the hourly rate of course, like I said before I'll eat the whole thing just to help out. I enjoy being able to actually do something relative to my interests at work, and they are pretty relaxed about letting me do stuff on or off the clock.
  19. Yeah nick that's basically what I'm doing as well. Just pulling up different fonts in our diemaking software as that's the program I need to export dds. so I can import it into our plotter/router software. Plus it's super easy to manipulate in cimex(our diemaking software). Here's a couple more that are done. Kinda hackish but they don't look too bad. If you higher ups don't care about me handing em out for free I'll take em with me to BC tomorrow morning in case anybody will be there. Oh and my boss says we charge 100 bones an hour, so that's a lot of beers I guess.
  20. Meh, I kinda dig the simple look of the bauhaus. I tried a couple other fonts too that I'm getting a pic of now. If you want the same things as on the helmet say the word, the program I'm using to create these has all the fonts in it. No need to even bring in another file. I'm just goofing off with different fonts.
  21. Yeah looks like nick is right with the verdana bold, did it in our program and it looks identical. Here are some others that were easy on the cutter. Top is pretty close to the verdana actually, I think it was ariel, bottom is bauhaus and looks kinda like phillies text. Both of these only took about 20 minutes total. The larger is about 9", smaller is about 7".
  22. let me try and adjust the font a bit first and see what it looks like to cut a full one. Then I'll have an idea how long it takes to do a few and squeeze them into the schedule at some point.
  23. That's just some realy thin vinyl that we've had laying in my area for a decade or so. We don't really deal with this substrate at all so I'd have to order something. I'm sure I could do a couple renegade ones out of this material for starters as I've got a good amount of it. I just cut it out and threw masking tape on top but it seemed to work pretty well. I'd like to try a slightly thicker font to make the cutting and peeling easier, I don't know though anybody got a font preference or preferred look? This one is about an inch tall and maybe 8 inches long or so.
  24. Not bad for a random font on an initial test, ha didn't even cut through the backer. Might be able to play with the depth or choose another font to get crispier edges. Only did a couple letters cause I wasn't sure how it would turn out. Got a ton of fonts standard in our design program, the bolder the better as far as our machine goes. It just drags the blade rather than spinning it automatically around every corner, as in the machine doesn't rotate the blade, the blade more follows the path the machine is dragging it on. anywho here's a pic.
