  1. That sounds fine man. I really only rode a longboard like twice in my life so shape really doesn't bother me at all. I just want something to cruise the paths on down there. Cons sound mostly cosmetic and I'm not really worried about that at all either. I'd be willing to drive to you, I just couldn't make it out til like friday or the weekend sometime. I still got your number if that hasn't changed since this summer.
  2. haha the blackout night, now that was a fun one.
  3. Thats perfect man, I'd go ninety bucks for a complete in a heartbeat. When and where??
  4. Yea I mostly want it for the state park we go to in delaware during the summer. They've got a great big blacktop loop that pretty much takes you anywhere in the park. PMed Snorovr but nothing back yet. Sorry Ron, I'm looking for cheapish. Any of you DE guys have an old long surfboard laying around that isn't getting any love??
  5. Looking to improve my beach fun arsenal. Drop a line if you've got either.
  6. In what way Douglass??? Do you even hit features??? Why don't you go appreciate a blue mountain thread with your outstanding comments then.
  7. Holy hell, seems I'm typing with all thumbs today. Some more trails. and hear em blowing saturday night. I was out enjoying adult beverages and shooting pool way too late last night.
  8. Non-operational. Why you always stirring the pot Fella. It's easy, if you don't dig bear then just refrain from posting in here. While you're at it please steer clear of the Flyers thread too ha.......but seriously. Looks like they are still re-opening wednesday night according to the website front page. I'd imagine with some some runs open but don't quote me on that. Pretty sure I could hear me blowing saturday night when I was at the bar.
  9. What exactly do ya mean about the wallride at the bottom of black bear??? Haha I'll admit I thought that rainbow looked a little sketch too but the kids seem to be greasing it no problem. I think the lip helps as it seems most people are launching til about the middle of the rail before they even get on. I didn't see any close calls last night. Actually saw a few people backflip off the lip it's so poppy.
  10. I think it's more like two or three. The amount of guns on that mountain is downright astounding. It's crazy.
  11. Not even sure what most of that means, sorry to hear I guess as it is sort of negative I'd guess. You seemed like a rad enough dude when we met at BC. Well if you're only not skiing due to lack of hardware I'd let those Atomics and bindings go for south of 40 or 50 bones if that interests you. Not really trying to sell them but always willing to help someone get on the snow. If you wanna get out and chuck some disc golf or something before hell freezes over here gimme a ring or a PM on here.
  12. Not so much knocking it, basically just woulnd't buy it on principal if that were the case.
  13. Took the words right off of my fingertips. Haven't been there in a year or two for this reason. It's a great mountain don't get me wrong, I just hate seeing all that good terrain and getting hassled for poaching it. Ordering snow camo 1 piece in 3...2....1...
  14. No offense meant but I really hope you're not flipping this from a ski auction or something. That kind of stuff has led to much less donations from mountains in our club. On the other hand if you're on the up and up I might know a guy who would be interested in this if it's still up for grabs. Again no offense meant, I just know there is a tempting profit margin to be made in such a way and some people take advantage of it. I think at our most recent auction just as an example we had a pair of sugarloaf tickets get auctioned off for like 4 bucks or something. Unreal deals to be had at ski club auctions.
  15. Cool to see ya reaching out to Pasr for potential employees. Not to threadjack but has park 1260 taken over your time completely during the summer or do you still river guide too??? Still semi interested in that gig come spring time.
  16. You met two of "them" this summer man. Our park crew also consists of 20 somethings and a 30 something with full time jobs with youngins mixed in for inspiration and youthful spirit. We always appreciate "constructive" criticism so thanks for that. I'm guessing you haven't tried BC's parks in the last year or two. We have had funky setups with multiple lips on different rails and boxes, as you said it's pretty easy with just a couple diggers to shape out some creative stuff to freshen up the park. Sidenote: Sorry I flaked on the fudge stickers. Also I still have a pair of park skis w/ binders I'd let go of dirt cheap if you still need sticks. Come up this winter if you're around, at the least for a beer or 3.
  17. You my friend have caught a rare glimpse of the boneyard. Indeed out of service rails, boxes, and various features. Hike the mountain bike trail sometime and it takes you right past it. Don't know why they don't just get rid of em for some reason, doubt any of them will ever see the slopes again.
  18. I think you spelled late december and mid march wrong. Their closing day has been firm mid march for the last three years at least if I remember correctly, and I'm pretty sure two of those years they didn't open til about new years. I don't really mind though as I shovel there for a free pass and haven't had to buy one for 3 years now. Looking to go back this year too. It's just too fun a job not to go back. BC Park Crew!!
  19. Of course it's going down to 60s this weekend, I'll be laying on the beach. Frick, I was hoping for 80's. Hope the water is still warm at least. double frick.
  20. Never did up a TR for this trip so I'll drop the 3 or so pics I took that made it to my facebook. Frontenac from the boardwalk out front. Hotel Glace outside quebec city. Crazy ice hotel with intense carvings and such, also an ice bar inside. Le Massif on our last ski day of the trip, great views of the St. Lawrence.
  21. Awesome TR, love that place. Sidenote: If any PASR people think they may get up there before they close this year I have two free lift ticket vouchers I could give away for free, hell I'll even pay for a stamp. Couldn't make it up this year and don't wanna see em go to waste. PM me if you want em. Also I think those woods in the last few pics are the same as in my icon behind the rabbit ha.
  22. I'm working Sunday so on beer for me til they shut the place down at 4. After that though I'm predicting multiple trips to the grille for tasty micros. Hope they got some single chair down there.
  23. Was there Monday night, granted it's a monday night, but when i pulled in at 3 i could see the whole mountain and counted maybe 5 people on the slopes. At the height of the evening there were maybe 20 people riding park. Here's to another fun season and what's sure to be a good time at the spring fling weekend.
  24. I thought it was about a sweet hockey goal. This is one thing I dislike about bear creek, but then their lift rides are 5 minutes max. Still with the money they sink into that place you'd think they could add a few foot rests on A and B at least.
  25. We should have a full time running go pro on some of those features. The gaper edits we could construct from bear would be EPIC to say the least. Nothing against em, they're all out there having a great time. Just saying......think of the epicness of 10 minutes of video we could put together.
