I ski at Sno alot and wanted to know what others thought about the mountain FYI the 22' Pipe is included in the Great Terrain Park Option.

worst night skiing where you still need night vision- Sno( well sometimes all of their lights actually do all work) area with worst douchebag ratio- anywhere were beginers ski above their level (AKA EVERYWHERE) worst apres ski bar -their is apres ski in the poconos? most likely to have the greatest number of tickets sold per acre of trail-Blue most likely to close early or not open lifts with coverage-Camelback.... area most likely to be repremanded by people with less skill than you-Everywhere i get repremanded, no one has more skill than me best overpromised undelivered hill -Sno, (I don't see any new high speed they promised) worst place to get hurt at - no comment best place to get your calves pinched when getting on a chair-Sno ( some high speed lifts would help with that) best place to go for longest conversations on a lift- Sno since they have the longest lift ride

Well be that way

worst place to book an XMas week vacation----idk where not to count on skiing if it's windy----camelback most likely area to have your gear jacked----mountain creek best park to get punched for dropping out of turn----BB most unreliable conditions report----Sno park the furthest/walk the most----everywhere most likely to ride a chair with a white guy who insists on rapping----blue/BB

Wow this is like the only camelback thread ive ever read where no one bashed camelback.

BTW learning to ski moguls is pretty easy once you have the basics nailed down. youll fall a little but its easy.
-
White lightning and smoke dont deserve a 10 for challenge????? i mean theyre not world class but white lightning is hard for the poconos!
-
Were there any moguls left anywhere this late into the season?

SMOKE The Glades (Hopefully there will be more for 08-09) and the ancient lifts
-
I doubt it. his dad said he was an accomplished skiier that could ski double black diamonds at resorts out west.
-
This sucks . These kind of things make you remember to be careful. My condolences go out to the family.

I have a terrible feeling that Sno is starting to look alot like Camelback. I'm worried that skiing will come second to the waterpark in the future like at camelback

Definately ... their website is never right and the overall design just really stinks. The site still says 100% open. It would also be really cool if they put some real pictures of the mountain on the sight.

The girl was snowplowing. its clear she shouldnt be on that run in the first place. she was under the landing and she should know better if she is going on a terrain park. it is entirely her fault. she also should have been wearing a helmet if she wanted to go on the terrain park at her ability level.

this is my first season with my own non rented skis. how often should i be waxing and tuning.and if i get a rust on my edges how do i get it off, and is it a big problem?
-
Thanks i think im gonna take them to buckmans soon for my end of the year tuning, ill have them check it out.
-
Definately.... i guess he was crossing his fingers hoping Snake would get open in time so all the intermediate skiers wouldn't attack im for only having one blue open without a park or race on it.
-
I wouldn't think of Upper runaway as the prime trail for this sort of thing.
-
i dont think its anyhting it just kind of looked like a scratch. i was just worried about the location. i dont know if i can get a pic, but thanks for the info.

I was skiiing on White lightning at sno when i realized a piece of plastic on my skis approximately 2mm by 3cm ripped off the side of my ski just above the outer edge. is this going to be a problem?
-
I was there a week ago and i was wondering what those huge bumps they were building were for. I guess now i know. Looks like tons of fun now that its done
-
Is Sno's pipe bigger than mountain creeks?
-
I guess that makes sense..... I do however like to say meeses
-
I guess youre right. It's totally up to the ski patrollers. I would like to see a high speed lift theres still since it would draw crowds and once the crowds got there it would move people up the mountain faste. I think it would pay for itself very quickly

Has anyone ever seen the Moose fully dressed as the Moose? during the mouse is loose weekend the "Meeses" where just ski patrollers with antlers on
