  1. Oh yeah.. I can see the clamps.. I smell hundred footer possibilities!!! jeeeeeeez louise, you guys definitly are rockin.. calling for flurries sun/mon... things are lookin up!
  2. only 3 new rails this week? what? you guys taking a break or something? that 50' DFD is really nice. how the hey do you guys move them?
  3. pretty sure that evan from RTR is hangin with us that weekend.
  4. good point.. ridge is a little different. you should see him in the park plenty this season.
  5. hahahaha relax!!!!!! it is still not cold enough for snow, don't figure on anything being open at and around thanksgiving. It simply is not cold enough. If they blow any snow at all between now and then it is going to be marginal conditions at best. Any rail jam at all would be just that. A rail that you can session. Big Boulder is the best position to open because it is a couple of degrees colder and they are motivated to open, but there is nothing they can do about the weather. Be happy if it does happen, otherwise we all are going to have to wait.
  6. it was? didn't they have problems with the grand prix and the pipe.
  7. I am betting limited park terrain and limited lifts until the snow melts after the 19th - The 19th would be the formal closing for everyone else. They announce many times over at the May Rail Jam that we would try to open early and close late. WE NEED COLD WEATHER. not marginal weather, COLD WEATHER
  8. haha... yeah that "huge mound" is the sediment trap used to control rain water run off from dumping mud down the hill side. That should be removed at some point.
  9. That ditch at CB is a cut and fill that could be easily done in a couple of days with loader and dozer. ( they used an excavator) High end rates at ($125 x 8 x 2 x 2) + (40k x .25) for stabilization. add 25% of that number for remediation (removal of sediment trap and stabilization) That's a high side estimate. What I don't understand about CB is that once they pulled the trigger on building that pipe, they somehow decided to really keep it really short. They had plenty more room to extend it. I guess thats CB (as I have been told) ................ They only do what they need to.
  10. Yeah, except in the couple of local skiercross events that I have been to, it seems that only park rats participate. Ridge entered one 2 years ago or so and took 3rd against kids twice his age/size. I think it will be cool to watch these super talented racers run as fast as they can through a shaped obstacle course. Sounds like fun.
  11. Cool website - Check it out for Bios and other stuff. http://www.theskitour.com/ It sounds like they are legitmate contenders not just some talking heads.

  14. not friday, tough call, if bell is open for the rail jam, we will be there.
  15. I like to burn my toast! burn toast!!!
  16. It's kind of sad, I am really hoping that with the winch groomer and the zaugg that they have trained skilled operators to run that equipment in the park. I doubt CB sends there park managers to anything like cutters camp however I could be wrong.
  17. aye
  18. so every one can get into his girlfriends pants, silly. duh... or.................... could be................... that.......................naaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  19. better is an understatement. Go to the Big Boulder forum and look for the Park logic updates, there are a lot of pictures that will show you what you are looking for.
