I don't know where that weather forecast is for, but for those who know Big Boulder they will attest that it is typically a couple of degrees colder than lake harmony and blakeslee. When we would make the trip from Camelback the temps at Big Boulder parking lot were consistently 3 - 4 dgrees colder.
-
Thanks Chris for having such a sick set up. Always a good time, nips and his friend Nick had a good time.
-
24 is the magic number for them.. There will be snow blown if it the weather forecast holds true.
-
The 22nd people.. get ready.. probably only be a freedom rail park like opening day (edit: opening day last year) however if that cold snap gets a little colder MAYBE a bit more.

I'll make a decision about 2pm today. this is for palmerton. Nice wind shift! The caveat is..... Here comes the cold! Today: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 61. East wind 8 to 15 mph becoming south. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible. Tonight: Showers likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Cloudy, with a low around 38. West wind between 9 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

it was said in response to another thread on another board... it is what it is.. Look I have seen Neptunes work and what he is capable as far as building features. I really think that is what he is getting at, he wasn't given what he needed to do the job and on top of that he hasn't been paid? Whether it was the late Zaugg or the lack of snow to build, I think we should be grateful that we have direct responses. What would be even more awesome is to now hear Sno's side of the story.
-
Why is it unprofessional, because he posted his side of the story? They offer a valuble service to those hills who can't do parks themselves, regardless of whether the parks live up to the expectations that the riders want. Neptune is plenty capable of building top shelf stuff. If SNO said we want this.. and in return, Neptune said OK you need to do this.. aw nevermind.

SeanyJ rides for them and and rides hard. In my book based on his skiing alone, they are a bomber ski. Message him on NS -
-
nips wore them for 3 years, I know for a fact that they work very well and lessen the bruising especially when gettting owned by a box or rail
-
Matt, if this you. Bring a RT crew with you. Its a really good scene and every one has a really good time.
-
Just to back that up. Coincidently, I was at the WashingtonDC ski expo this weekend and asked the Bear Creek guy why there was a picture of a Planet Snow jib. The Answer; That pic was from years ago, we make our own jibs now and everyone is a lot happier. I have heard that the durability of Planet Snow jibs is (*&^%#&%$&(#% numerous times.
-
nips says he is in on the 15th.
-
it needs to get cold..
-
new park manager, new jibs, new guns, winch groomer, park passes. You guys got no excuses for this upcoming season.
-
Given that thier business is exactly this type of work, I would venture a guess that it was slow/no pay that caused the falling out.
-
build it and they will come

a 22' cutter with out someone skilled to run it is useless.
