  1. What about the super pipe and cutter?
  2. Thats a great price. someone should jump on these
  3. There aren't any jibs going to Boulder from Planet Snow. Maybe he did sell Sno's jibs to Camelback?
  4. It's true.. Firday night 5pm till Midnight at the plaza. they are going to look at it again tomorrow and decide then what jibs to put out. If things are still good it will go saturday. Temps aren't looking great for any for making any kind of official opening. So if you are jonesing to hit some jibs, head on over Friday night.
  5. trick or treat in the plaza
  6. By not spending money on improving stuff, by cutting staff and hours during off peak times, by not giving away free tickets, by not grooming twice a day, by closing lifts that aren't at or near capacity. lets see... oh yeah, by raising prices!
  7. these jams at RT are always good, very good, be there!
  8. Wow thats awesome that the jib honks will have something other than the tubing animals to play with. Nice to see that you are still whoring threads off topic about blue, feels like home.
  9. god damn its been quiet up there lately..... now i get it. I was trying to figure out why ryan was postin in a boulder thread on NS and CB has something up its sleeve. Hhahahahaha they all have gone super secret comando incognito... Look for everything - everyone to try out do each other this year
  10. skiers, the most whiny with the most maintenance = the lowest margin tubers, happiest when herded like cattle = best margins Be happy that you have tubing to subsidize skiing.
  11. anyone hike the park tonight?
  12. Park is played, time to start racing, that will be the new trend!
  13. No really, This made me chuckle.. Its a good thing. Now which one of these hills is going to be the first to get carpet for summer jibbing.
  14. lol
  15. yep, you are right. all skiers...... yep..... the only thing that identifies a whether or not they are a "skier" is whether they care about park. thats a fact. What else are you learning in that school out there?
  16. I am little sheepish mentioning other forums when on a forum..But the info flows very fast here.
  17. depends on what you call an "opening" if they are blowing snow, and you like hiking jibs, then go. if you want lifts and 1000 foot vert with enough base to cover, then stay home until the official "opening"
  18. Don't read this, its SPAM.. Game on. Snowmakers are reporting for duty at 11pm tonight - fan guns will run on Launchpad if weather forecasts hold. Comments: You've waited long enough. The National Weather Service says temps will drop into the mid 20s over the next two nights. And as we all learned in 2nd grade, that is below the freezing mark. Randy and the Miracle Makers are reporting for duty at 11pm tonight, and they will most likely fire up the fan guns on Launchpad in the wee hours of the morning. And oh yes, we planned ahead. The mowing team has kept the grass on Launchpad buzzed short, so it won't take much snow to get 'er open. Remember last year, we opened a small terrain park on the Pad on October 29? We'll probably do that again. Stay tuned in the coming days - winter is coming early. -Luke
  19. you probably were. the second jump was easy to overshoot if you cleaned the first and if you didn't carry your speed through the second, you decked on the third. Ouch.. those that had it dialed typically went steezey on the first, focused on the second, big on the last jump.
  20. I wouldn't say no problem. You had to be dialed after training someone for speed since conditions change daily - obviously. Hit the first, recover and set up for the third jump was the normal run. The better skiers would hit all three.... when crews were riding together. Otherwise hit the first one and chicken out on the others.... I rarely saw riders hitting all three like that, of course that may have just been the company I kept.
  21. sign of the tough times coming?
