hahahaha.. yeah sitting in a landing area definitely had its consequences. The jump was surprisingly clear. It all depends on what you like. The crowd stoke and vibe was a good one.

We may not do wisp. With Tom hurt and all, nips is waiting to hear if he will be skiing. My '08 trip to Sno
-
I am sorry, do you work for Sno? I missed their advertisements about the "best snow" and coverage on NF - What does NF stand for anyhow? North Face?
-
uhhh was at boulder last weekend and headed to Loon this coming weekend and then Wisp at the end of the month and then nips goes to whistler for 3 weeks in June and July all for skiing. Your season might be over, but ours is not. I am interested in Sno and what they are doing, I am interested in all the mountains with parks that they promote. Sno hyped a lot but delivered little until end of season. We will be at Sno when the park warrants being there compared to others available. Mean time I will keep an eye on what is going on and comment when I feel appropriate. Call it bashing if you want. Those in the know, know exactly what I am doing and are supportive, including Sno Management. Here, maybe this will help explain things. The video I made of the Big Boulder May Day rail jam has been viewed 2200 times in 24 hours. Now, think... think any ski resort would like that kind of attention free of charge? Take a look at this video that I posted about a week ago, take a look at the comment section and give me your thoughts. http://www.newschoolers.com/web/content/vi...ember_id/63479/

huh, I am confused, why are you glad?

holy cow, so many positive comments on the article and the event itself. It's hard to guess how NS is going to react to something, especially a small event compared to the other articles released recently. I'm stoked!

Ah yep, go here to read the Report: http://www.newschoolers.com/web/content/news/news_id/2082/ Jason Wagner runs the Roundtop Rider website and one of the founding members for those you who are curious to who he is. The video will be replaced with better quality tomorrow.

No worries Santa, I do know what is going on. Next season will be much better Park wise for you guys, unless some act of nature destroys the place and personnel. I see Sno continuing to book and promote large FS events, however I doubt they will have park features season long on the level of the competitors that will be coming to the comp. Does that make sense? Message boards bring people together who share a common interest. I respect all opinions and all complaints as long as they are backed up with reasoning. Even posts directed at Boulder. There are lots of things I want to see different at Boulder. They aren't secret. I don't respect people who personally attack others for stating their opinions in an open message board. Ski's post directed at me in this thread is a prime example of where threads go bad. Those type of posts are made for reasons that aren't even worth speculating on. BTW- I think you posted once after you got injured, are you all healed up? What happened? Are you old enough to hit the cork?
-
Now why would you wish something like that? And just how much stalking do you do of people? Thats a really far reach to pull up stuff like that. You are scary. So, is there any chance that Sno might push around the snow left over from the pipe and do something like a rail jam?

Curious, was that Ben Birk on the mic? That sounds like him. He is not Boulder staff and he has that attitude quite often. I can tell you that Boulder Staff is super stoked on the skiers, even more so now, in light of what Brogan, Seany, KT, Stunt have been doing this season. Take a look at the Boulder Park team make up. Skier sponsors are hard to get, I have been talking to some and well... we are too far away... have a disproportionate amount of riders compared to the rest of the park world... Don't know anyone at Boulder... The regional reps hook up the Zgames thing. We need to think larger. This summer, I think I will spearhead getting suggestions for a skier only comp and then go from there. What type of Comp. What type of Judging rules. What type of features.
-
It was probably about 8 or 9 riders to each skier. there were at least 25-30 over the course of the day. BTW you are in the edit, saying "how ya doin"
-
word.. why is santas panties in a bunch? Everyone is entitled to express their own opinion, I have a problem with attacking a person who is stating their opinion. Hey Santa, agree to disagree and keep moving. respect that most people who take the time to express an unpopular opinion do so, because they are passionate about their ideas. isn't that a good thing for pushing improvements? So what are you saying? That if you have skills in the park, that you are allowed to complain or make suggestions?
-
There is a write being done along with photos and an edit. I'll copy it and post it here when it goes up tomorrow.
-
as much as I love Boulder, they are lame like that. When riders are numbering 10 to 1 skier, what can you do? Ask them to give rider entry money to the skiers? I wish I had more time during the week to organize some skiing events there. BB Event Mgmt may need help with skiing contacts, or so it seems, the other bigger problem is there are simply not enough park skiers to warrant any thing substantial.
-
nope not all... Boulder is off the charts in stellarness. If you were there today, you would know what I was talking about. I post for the largest percentage of viewers here who never sign in and just lurk around reading the recent stuff.

for anyone checking in last minute. A rythym section MotoX style with rollers 25 footish kicker in a stepover style at the top a dozen quality jibs in all kinds of set ups 30% scattered showers in the forecast.
-

If you have a screen name at NS - sign in here too.. http://newschoolers.com/web/content/events/event_id/683/ There is a large turnout of skiers from as much as 6 hours away coming for this. We are doing news/press coverage also for a NS front page release. BTW NS is now second of the most popular websites right behind skipass.
