I'll get some video up - soon - I also owe clips of grass skiing at BC . But we are headed out the door now, wont be back till late.. It seems I met every PA mountain rep except CB & Blue - funny now that I think about who was missing. I guess they think they are too good to get the word out to the DC crowd. I stuck PASR stickers on their shirts, pocketbooks, tables - etc etc BTW - RT, Liberty and Whitetail group are definitly getting the word out

Steeze insists that a couple of rails in the parking lot we saw last week were new (recondidtioned) and either they are new to CB or they really look different out of the snow. He skied there 10 days last year, so I am going to err on the side of being positive and start a potential rumor and say that there is a battleship and a flat down flat in the parking lot. If he goes to the ski bum he will get great service and great deal with warrranty and service and know exactly what he is leaving with. Buying on line is a crap shoot. BTW DUDE- it is the big guys that I have had all the problems with, I only buy new. I bought 7 pairs from ebay and 4 of them were not as advertised. I bet the price can be beat - what length are they and what are the sidecuts listed on the ski. Were the bindings mounted and are they brand new?

No, a particular online retailer bought all the 140's and 150 GS11 from the race department on thursday. Atomic would not pull out 2 sets from that order for the little ski shop. Whether or not they have a ebay store, I do not know. I had problem with what ever a ATOMIC GS11.21 is.... no one ever did explain what that ski is. I know alot of people swear by Atomic, I have a problem it seems every time I turn around however, I do really like the Metrons that I can touch, feel and scrutinize in my ski shop. I have been burned several times by poor descriptions on ebay. 50% of the time. When I buy from ebay now, I buy with the understanding that I may not be actually getting what is being advertised. I have a set of $595 skis that I am willing to let go for $200. you want them? I don't, they are not what I was told that they were and I am done with arguing with those stores after several fiascos over the summer.

Yeah, you must be tired, re read the posts above. There is no beating on, just a correction/clarification of what Atomic is currently doing with all the excess skis they didn't sell last year. I'll explain in detail, exactly what it is, on sunday, if you don't wimp out.

35k or 25k - can't remember at the end of last season, is the word I got. I was not counting how many are being currently sold on ebay.. I am stating a fact that I know to be true, that Atomic is currently dumping large quantities of specific skis to typical online sellers. So you know. a particular model that just got horded up looks exactly like this years, I can see the ad now... NEW 2006 in the wrapper. retail $450, our price $250!! it only cost them $150 or less.. Let the buyer beware!

Take the time to build relationships with shops that you would spend on line and it will pay you back many times over. I have had a lot of bad experiences with Ebay and do not reccomend it unless you are prepared to eat what you get... I buy stuff from ebay when I find come across a killer deal. Can someone find me 140cm r14 with race binding for under $200 - Atomic had 35,000 excess skis that they are dumping to the internet sellers. Let me know when you find them. Ebay and Atomic are 2 peas in a pod. Thanks for your comprehensive post and a great return policy! Ignore the guy who hates on shops and stuck on ebay. he is very misguided in my opinion and seems to take anything I promote as his personal mission to shoot holes in it. Do us all a favor and please continue to offer your advice and killer deals. Thanks for supporting PASR.

yeah yeah yeah.... and I spoke to a manager who said he would hold some skis for a specific person. Did he passs the message on to the clerks? Nope. SKI999 address your question to the person who made the post regarding the SKI BUM policy as he suggested, via email and lay the off the silly antics.. I will personally guarantee that anyone who deals with Duane at the skibum will not be disappointed. Ski999 go buy your next pair of skis at the skibum and if you don't like them... Correct, the Loft has an area in their rental shop dedicated to consignment sales. That is unusual in my eyes, then again maybe I never noticed that other shops may have the same program. Maybe ED's over at RT? I know they are real progressive and supportive to the freestyle sport.

If you have new equipment and a shop that you are going to buy those skis from and the board is priced to sell at a good value, why not see if that shop will do a consignment thing for you. I had 2 brand new sets of junior race skis that wouldn't/couldn't sell for 8 months. I happened to drop them off at ski shop so that some people that were interested in, but couldn't keep a meeting date, could look at them. Guess what? They both sold within one day - to the wrong people!! Fortunatly I was able to get two more pair exactly the same from my shop to appease the people that originally wanted them. What make of twins are you looking at?
