  1. I velcro strap the tips and tails together (allowing for the camber) and lean them in a corner. In the past I have used those vinyl coated hooks used for storing ladders I believe. I had 2 rows of them. now they are holding fishing poles. I bring the skis inside now, or the kids do..
  2. After 6 months of posting ads on several MB's - The Loft could have sold my stuff 2 times over. You might want to try them.
  3. huh? what are you doing to piss me off?
  4. Papasteeze

    Autobrushes?

the cordless drill is the expense not the brush itself. Correct?
  5. I should have added with mounted Atomic race bindings..................
  6. Well - they are sold and I sold them, apparently toooo cheap. I decided that I would make them more accessible to some CAT team parents by dropping them off at the loft on Saturday. UH OH!!!!!!!! one set sold sunday afternoon and the other was bought by a CAT team parent who wanted the other set and now there is a parent who expressed an interest who didn't get any... OH BOY... I have posted on classifieds on several boards over the last 6 months, set them out at ski swaps ..... so how was I supposed to know that the LOFT at CB was the place to drop off quality gear to get the quality price instantaniously! Props to the loft!!!! Ski shops rule! I am taking my 2 sets of line skis there next weekend to see if they sell equally as quick.... footnote: does anyone know where I can get 140cm GS11 r14m at $225 delivered to some upset CAT team parents? I am in so much hot water.. Please don't say Ebay.. I checked
  7. Waita minute.... yesterday? so did we!!!!.... and we didn't skip dryland training.. wimp
  8. HAHAAHAA!! you won't believe it, until you see it.. Join us for a PASR day there sometime this upcoming season..
  9. JFBB offers the most bang for the buck, especially if you get early to JF and then at lunch head over to BB.. Makes for a great outing.. Could someone split this thread up to create a JFBB topic since we got off subject? Thanks!
  10. ABSOlutely!!!! All the more reason to get a PASR team to travel around to various comps or Freestyle days or the PASR days.. Collectively there are enough snow enthusiasts to have this whole controversery put rest by seasons end.. shhhhhhhh... i know who is going to win
  11. use noaa.gov I use it at work and it is very consistently right on... The radar functions are much more accurate. but anything over a couple of days out is educated guesswork.
  12. Steeze, I have not been able to find anything about the rail jam. It appears to be more of an exhibition than a competition..
  13. now there is a good compromise! makes sense to me.
  14. skidude is the only skier on here that has them that I am aware of.. Skidude?
  15. Being better and best is a subjective opinion without agreed upon formats for surveys which create ratings. Because of proximity, staff, nastar, price and park, I would choose BC over and above MC that is why it is better IMO.. Hell it's better than Tahoe - just because we can't get there!! ^^^^ yep...! what he said. Props to our very own BCparkstaff for getting the word out on that one!! Think you can get your MC park manager to join here? He would be given the Montain Representative Title and then he can get the word out on here and then, eventually, everyone will leave thier respective mountain to go to yours, since yours.... is the BEST!! By the way.. the inivitation is open for all Ski Area Management personell, with approval from their supervisors, to be given the "Mountain Representative" Title. PM me for more info. I almost forgot, thanks pasucks for the intelligent break down on your thoughts regarding MC - I knew you had it in ya!!!
  16. Last year, way down south near the Delaware/PA line a little ski shop sold 70 copies of a locals snowboarding video.. There is a demand for well edited "kids stuff".. Making and editing videos is all the rage. Does anyone know the best way, quickest, cheapest way to burn DVD's.. THe roundtop riders have some really well put together films. But when I asked about distributing, no one seemed to have the time or interest. I have watched alot of free-riding videos over the last year and watching local talent, well filmed is just as interesting.. IMO!
  17. I'll make a new post in Lounge
  18. When was that? My info is about a week old..
  19. Took a quick look today and I think I see the way, but apparently there is only one or two dry crossings.
  20. Keep him around... He is entitled to his "wrong" opinion As long as we don't get off into profanity, from what I understand he isn't doing much different than what led to the creation of this board.. Let him speak, it apparently makes him feel good! WORD!!! there is always one or two in a bunch ... We are happy to be of service to you PASUCKS!!
  21. They are considering park passes.. They same thing should apply to parks as do running gates. The terrain parks are still evolving and I think it is a given that more regulation will become evident every year as demand increases.
  22. Steeze boots are cut just above the buckle, the 1080's sent from salomon had a dotted line on where to cut! Then there is "V" shaved piece under the calf that was widened to allow for flex in lieu of a typical heel screw - then booster straps. PN Sr charged $150 for the instaprint for ridge with a money back guarantee and didn't have much good to say about sure foot.. I have no personal experience with surefoot however, he said that the pins actually cross reference to a chart which then they select an insert in the back room that closest matches what the chart tells them. The surefoot system is not a custom molded insert according to your boss and that his system is superior.. If there was a surefoot store closer to me, I would definately do it since it might take the human error out of the mold process. I am not convinced that a mold of a foot while standing barefooted is a good thing.. To me, the mold should be made while your foot is strapped in a boot pointed down hill like you were skiing to be truly a good fit. Just a thought..
  23. sup Tommy........ Are you in, or was last year it? Did you check the qualifiers, you need some racing skills if you are competing this year.. Will we see you in DC next week end? We have to work together to get the PA kids off the bottom of the list at the finals, any suggestions?
  24. we are looking for the backroad to the loft after a dump.. do you know the way?
  25. Thanks for all the info Vokyl.. I understand the new GM's last name is WOLF? He worked his way up through the various postions at ski resorts. Roundtop continues to progress... Great news, excellent post! Thanks again!
