  1. It is starting to look official. The first annual preseason PASR day will be at Bear Creeks Fall festival!!
  2. any chance you will be around for the fall festival so that we can get a sneak peek and maybe some photos???? It would be great to get some shots up of the stuff you guys are building.
  3. Did I see somewhere that you guys are going for a "U" shaped box for mid-season? I'd like to see some more focus on the pipe or at the least the condition of the pipe. I know mother nature can creat havoc, so that is probably wishful thinking.
  4. I think I mentioned it before.. If you do go, I would suggest going with the intent to meet some other extreme snow loving kids. You probably won't get many runs in, the set up might be a little sketchy and it might not necessarily be worth the ride. Go with the attitude to meet some talented kids and talk up the pre-season wish lists and I think everyone will have a great time. Tommy from Wisp is the one to watch. Steve Stepp and Evan are all right up there with him. Damn, I wish I was going.
  5. Steeze - you are going to have to convince your mom to take you. I got issues with Teri again. I know the RT guys are going to harrass me over this one.

    New rails

Yeah - The more I think about it, and for what my opinion is worth. Parks that consist of various features running down a trail aren't ok because you can't hike back and forth to a favorite or one that you want to work on because it seems to cause a problem for those who use the trail like a slope style event. I really like Steamboats set up in the SOBE Terrain Park. It is essentially a small bowl that you can choose 50 different lines with varying degrees of difficulty. It has the superpipe to one side, Nastar gates against the treeline and then benched jumps that funnel down to a spline and wall ride at the bottom. The rails are on the opposite side of the Nastar course all serviced by it's own lift. With the idea of park passes becoming more widely discussed. I think CB would do itself well to continue to keep the majority of the features near the Nastar course on one side and the rails near the condos on the other side as they do now. I just would like to see them limit access to those who really want to learn park and limit the users who just cruise through. BTW - I BELIEVE some of the new rail features at CB are some curved boxes.. Don't hold me to it. Just my opinion... FIRE AWAY!!
  7. Can you send me some contact info on the carpet ? Are you building any rails for sale? That one looks perfect - however I am sure steeze would want it longer.

    New rails

I am surprised that no one seems to know any one in the CB shop who can get us some inside info. We gets lots of info on Bear and Blue. Note to self..... Meet people who work in the mechanics shop this year. Fantasy's are always best until they come true.

    Boots

That is the general rule I have heard over and over... Ski on them for few days and then get them tweaked. I understand that Nestors does a good job and then there are the custom guys.. But they are priced and I have heard 50/50 ratings on them. I have always done my own padding and grinding.. This year, I THINK I finally found the boot in the Dalbella Kryptons.. Time will tell, story at 11
  10. Welcome Back!
  11. I am contemplating seriously about getting a house for those 2 weeks. No promises, but keep that in mind...

  15. It's the laws of supply and demand.. Props to every supplier who takes care of their customer!!
  16. I already messaged the new guy. hehehehee
  17. Thanks for the update, I will get them added!
  18. I think it means we may have to carry the equipment up each lift ride. That was what we did last time. 999 - do you have any that you are using for parts? I need several cleats and I thought I would ask before I turn one ski into a parts ski.
  19. I understand that Mr Johnson of Camelback fame is following in the other Daves footsteps to Arizona Waterpark. A new guy by the name of Craig from Bristol is taking his place. Hopefully the new Marketing guy is a avid snow guy and brings CB into the 21st Century. Best wishes Davey! Put a plug in for PASR before you go!
  20. I revived this to offer up some clarifications. Apparently there are some serious allegations floating around. I know that some parents will not understand, nor will they try. So this post is not for you, change the channel if you are offended or have an opinion of negativity. The last part of the video was put on as a fund raising escapade, so that a group could go to a sushi restaurant that night to hang out with some pros that were in town. They got the bright idea to get a volunteer to be duct taped and stick on sign on that said, give me a kiss or give me a dollar. Never in anyones mind did they realize that not only would nipples get the money, that he would get kisses and other things too. I talked to the camp directors a week ago they said it is the funniest thing they have seen in 5 years and that the town of whistler still talks about it. At the height of fundraiser, the camp director estimated that there were 200 spectators along with the local police force cheering everyone on to contribute. I wonder how many volunteers there will be for ductaping fund raisers next year!! We/he and his brother will be going back for 2 weeks next year, there are 8 kids that I know of at this point. I am contemplating seriously of trying to put a large group together, maybe get a house and us parents can toss a baton around on a chaperoning thing.
  21. My bad, sorry I revived this thread for some reason and had forgotten what I had asked.. Question? How is determined what skill level you are at in freestyle?
  22. Make sure you ask for Duane and tell him you are from PASR - there are PASR stickers for sale there too!
  23. Ok, so I have sick sense of humor, but I thought that thread was funny, i still think it's funny
  24. Brilliant Idea!!
  25. I saw several of last years womens boards at the Ski Bum last night.. They were marked waaaaaaay down. If you are close, pay them a visit this weekend.
