    Thats got style for sure..
  2. When the boys didn't care what mountain they went to, I always picked ELK in spite of the longer drive and slower lifts.
  3. It has been extremely dry down this way for the last 3 weeks or more. I am noticing a lot of leaves falling - not necesarily turning colors.
  4. If I remember right, Stratton is off the scale pricewise - 60k total for 2 boys - no freakin way can I pay that. I am just gathering future information, sort of like a fact finding misssion. There is no way at this time that long distance private school will happen. However, if Ridge continues to excel the way he did last season, only this time, through the USSA ranks, well then...... In that event, I would like to be prepared since a lot of these schools fill up early.
  5. Reviving this thread since I needed a refresher on academies/private schools. Does any one know a school that has strong and equal focus in both disciplines, Freestyle and Racing. I noticed Squaw Valley. However Steven said he would be more comfortable with a school here in the east rather than the other side of the country. Ridge? He is so layed back, I don't think he cares one way or another. I thought I would narrow our search down by asking the question on here first. The idea is to keep the brothers together.
  6. Just to keep everyone updated, Steezemachine is changing his mind - he is wanting High North next year. The influence of an all skier camp is what seems to be driving this change. I have it mind to get a group together for next summer's camp.
  7. Okay - I did my homework - did lots of testing and fitting and least a dozen different pairs in the last 2 months and I am extremely pleased with my new Dalbello Kryptons!!! I love the 3 piece shell - the way the ankle buckle can hold the heel back ..... all of the accessories included for tweaking adjustments later. The Stock foot bed isn't a whole lot different than one of those molded ones. I didn't feel the need for one yet, I think I will ski on them some and pack the liners out a bit first. 3 buckles with tongue strap to pull on. Wide cuff strap. Tons of flex - yet several accessories to remove the flex if I decide to run some gates. Several degrees of various shims for adjusting cant and forward lean. and to beat all..... They fit my knobby ankles without any obvious pressure points and yet are narrow enough to be snug around my foot and I can still wiggle my toes They work for me Try-em out if you are shopping...
  8. In the recent issue of Ski Racing - there is a great article on what one week is like in the off-season for Lyndsey Kildow. She started at Buck Hill - 324' vert A little off topic, but it is along the same lines of what self determination does for you. BTW - I had heard that there were some management changes at Ski Racing and the Issue that we just recieved really shows it. I get several magazines and this is one that I read front to back twice!!
  9. I will take liberties and announce that we are also contemplating including them with the purchase of PASR Hoodies/shirts.
  10. I like how they think!! Think snow!! It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.. BTW - I posted a number of new events tonight. I am trying to be consistent with the inclusion of website links for added info, but as I look back - I think I am making a mess of things. Let me know what you think. Edit: Do think that I thought that I might be thinking that I used the word think to much?

  16. I agreee with what he said..... Congrats!!
  17. Could you create a PASR buddy account for the various season passes available. For example, I would like to add 1 adult and 2 children for weeknights only. The problem is I can't be there Oct 22nd. Also I am trying to do the math on the $12 weeknight pass. Will you accept PASR as a club?
  18. That seems so unreal.. must be nice...!
  19. Thanks for the tip - let the fine folks at Nestors know that we are reppin their store!! Better yet if you stop in tell them you found out about the sale from this website
