Hey Joe! Mad props for puting this event together, all in all everyone had fun and realizes and hopes that this will be the first of many. Good job! I have no doubt that they will get better, no apologies necessary in our minds.

Cool - here are 2 other rail jams (check the october calendar) one is at Roundtop the other at Bear Creek - Hopefully you can be there!!

I will.. The in-run material used wasn't fast enough to build enough speed to slide the rail initially. DHarrisburg PASR TEAM REPRESENT was the first person to clean the rail on his second run, his board slid very slowly right to the end of the rail and stopped. They threw ice shavings up on the ramp, the skiers then were able to get enough speed to get to the end of the rail but the boarders had a difficult time all afternoon and evening. I think the guys that put this together learned alot about what to do, as far as improving on the setup next time. What they had was good, I am betting that if they do a parking lot scenario again, it will be better, alot better. EDIT: Here are some suggestions: It looks like a second section could be built and added easy enough to the top of the box truck. Then the tranny could have been lengthed a bit. Ice, crushed ice was what was used, Rink shavings seem to work so much better for an in run - steezemachine will have to confirm that. The rail it self was throwing everyone off at the same point, I believe that it was slightly out of level or twisted at that point.

If their lack of interest in accepting your hand drawn diagram is anything like your spelling, no wonder the park won't change. second thought... if 12 year boys are offering advice about how CB can improve - C'mon CB, wise up! 12 yr olds eager to help...? I have talked in earnest with mgt several times, they seem to be listening, I am thinking that there will be some changes for the better, but IMO they will never have a top notch park or race program - there focus on ticket sales seems to be from an entirely different archaic perspective. don't worry about your set-up.. this is a great group of central pa mountain guys. come out meet them and rep PASR! We will be there by 3pm - I believe the earlier you get there the earlier you can kill yourself with practice runs.. etc etc - the cut- off is 3:30 or so. THis thing runs for like 7 hours!! Steeze has his '06 gear put away for the season start.. you know how to ride, thats all that matters..
