Here is the graphic on a t-shirt from the same artist that is on the 171

We did wisp 2 days last year - Nice mountain, great ski and ski out accomodations. It is a 4 1/2 hour drive for us, so it would only be for 1 weekend if at all next season.
-
Nice find!! Bet you can't wait to get on em!!
-
9 days at CB last year - Ridge and Steven will be there far more than I will - I double checked and the Family pass looks to make the most sense for this upcoming season. Steven and I will probably be traveling alot to other mountains as we have in the past. We skied at 22 different places last season!!
-
We should be hearing alot from the Central PA guys.. lots of talent over there. I know we will keep everyone posted as to which days we will be at RT - Wisp and Whitetail.
-
sup DC?? nice to see you sign in!
-
I don't think a half hour early is worth it. 13 days is too many to make a season pass pay.
-
Gurp - I saw them today, touched them, looked them over!! The bases have some slick graphics in them Very nice @ $300 Let me know before you buy and I'll see if I can get you a hookup.

it may feel like a lot of ski when you are cruising, but it should make up for that in the park with more pop! The 171 graphics are more subdued but are cutting edge too. Steeze had no problems with a 4Frnt 147 and he is 4-9 @ 75lbs!! His AR3 140cm are well up to his forehead. It seems that all the serious park riders are on a much longer ski than you would normally see on a all mountain skier. Ask Gurp - I think he moving up to a TM 180 or something like that.
-
dude... by a newschooler reference you should get the 176 if you are staying the park. What are you on now? The new AR5's are really nice

I looked into it locally here, the problem is tooling estimates are in the 50-100k to get started with the frame and plastic peice that holds the rollers, then there is a patent thing to be concerned about. too much work for me at this time... good idea with money and time to burn, I believe there is a market for someone motivated enough to convince some mountains to open thier lifts.......... not me., not at this time....
-
I totally agree - I am taking 5 pairs of grass skis to Bear and going to campaign them hard for next year and see what happens.. the problem is equipment.. the people making these skis doen't seem to be interested in selling individual pairs - which maybe the problem in itself.
-
Bryce Mountain has the grass skiing - I was hoping to make down this summer - but it hasn't worked out so far.

There is a newschooler who spends his summer in bethany, he has 4 brothers. I'll get him over here to tell us some more. I searched NS and it is waaaaaaay under the radar. Apparently 2 years ago they did not open until Feb 1st yet when I look at their photo album from last year... it looks to be amazing..

Here is some awsome Wisp talent... It's that TommyDW guy!!! http://newschoolers.com/PHP/Videos/LoadVid...p4?vid_id=20744

I lifted some from your album added them for future reference, nice shots, thanks!
-
I got a few more pics up from last season - namely, shots while in Tahoe
-
I never heard of this place until today - 1000' vert, high speed lifts, anticipated opening November 26th!!! They were blowing snow on March 25th, had a park party in April...... I'm pumped! It looks to be about 4 1/2 hours for us (about the same as New York.. Anyone ever been there? http://www.wintergreenresort.com/ski/index.asp This was December 3rd or something last year.

Does anyone know Dave Gruber over at Roundtop? Apparently he is available to put together a sick park as evidenced by the talent coming out of Roundtop.. He is a hands on guy and the park rats are sick (literally) over losing him to some apparent shenanigans.
-
Good point - I have a paypal account and would be willing to get any passes that anyone wants. I can be trusted....
-
I am interested in weekday evening only passes (3) - I will be there on August 13th. I won't be able to be there any other time in the near future.
-
Nice... I found the unicycles there, looking at and learning surfboards now. Still throw bids on grass skis. Ebay rules as long as get what you are bidding on... Just no warranty...

In conversations with him he appears to be an upfront guy going with the flow - while I am biased he did take the time (20 mins) to speak with steven on the park and then follow up with a message to me about the conversation. Yes I belive he is the PR and marketing guy, however I didn't ask him what his title was directly.. I know you are watching Dave, time to man up and chime in!!
