Any race camps that will take Ridge 6-23 through 7-7 at whistler. Does any one have a PHONE contact? Steeze will be at COC at that same time. Maybe something can be worked out but I don't see how at this point without great contact info and references.

Yeah - whistler is still hurt. I doubt Gus will remember Ridge or an invite, if he does decide to put one together. It will be interesting to see if he does make contact, if he does decide to put a camp together last minute.. Thats all I am going to say...

Any word on Whistler yet? Does this mean that CB might reconsider and do a summer camp?

Isn't Nastar frequently referred to as a great feeder program to the USSA?? Wanna know how the economy is doing in 6 months. Check with local governments on how many building permits were applied for compared to previous months... BTW - there is a place for freeskiing too!!!!!!!!!

Sibby: Did you add in the income from the season's passes for the racers siblings and parents, and ski programs for the parents (most of CBs Master's program is race parents)? Also, the income to the fireside grill and bar from these parents? I suspect our race parents have the most induced livers on the planet... Plus, a fair number have weekend homes at Northridge, etc. I'd agree, the total income package is not totally trivial. More importantly, the race program gives CB credibility and visibility. It keeps CB on the map of resorts that offer quality programs. It also keeps certain administrators amused. CB wouldn't support racing if it weren't a big plus... Three CB racers were invited to train with the JO's this year - The Junior Olympics. And, CB finished 10th at the NASTAR Nationals in Park City. BTW, Skierforever, the NASTAR Nationals are for anyone who qualifies...why not get out there and try ...too afraid you'd have to admit that racing is fun? _________________ I liked skimom's reply.. I think we have spent enough at CB to have a trail named after us plus fund any deficit they might have from paying all the life Guards ... OOPS that's country club stuff.... oh well....

A Psych major probably could explain it. Myabe its the American way. The guy on top only has down ahead of him. Positive coments don't get much attention, negative ones do. Minorities are more vocal! Especially the negative ones. Praise the person on top, they earned it, it wasn't given to them. (Kings and Queens are gone now)

Ask me about something I feel is important like these freakin ski resorts that open with 2 trails covered in frozen pond water - yet they close with all slopes and a 36" base.. Now that is Stupid. I don't like that. It's mean, inconsiderate and just down right un-american Hey would CB open if Bode said he would stop by and sign jackets? I wonder?

Whatever.. Bode Miller's signature on his jacket are you kidding?? H$ll, I bet they would pop the tops for him. "Mr Bode, sir, may I get you another sir, please sign my jacket I will be right back!!" I taught my kids about substance abuse. They are on their own now.
