Are you going to PC??? I am trying to find all of the Eastern PA people I can - I don't know if it is possible, it might be underhanded, IDK.. But I think it would be cool if we formed a team with the people from the Pocono area that are going to PC - How the hey do we send a message to all of the qualifiers in this area???? Any ideas??

I agree!! - I have done my best to explain how the rankings work at Nastar to my son and I have explained to not worry about the "system" and the odd or suspicious results. He will get his chance to ski head to head.. Matter of fact, we chased the kids that were ranked higher in PA and wouldn't you know it? They weren't there. The cool thing about Nastar is that it tracks your results - so if you race enough you can see the improvement.. Ski999's girl earned her medal that day - my suggestion is to not worry about the handcap system, to ski as much as you can within Nastar and watch the overall improvements.. At 4 years old "you" will notice the improvement through out the season (on the average) - I questioned Nastar hard - the medals are a small bonus... I know they mean alot to a kid.. Don't take that away!!! She earned that medal on that day fair and square.... forget the handicap system and the way it works!!! http://www.nastar.com/index.jsp?pagename=r...16893&year=2005

Kind of a late season report but Blue today, Bear tomorrow night.. Park against park from the mouth of an expert on Wednesday..
-
We are headed up to Bear Tuesday night - will post on the lastest and greatest features at the Park - Did anyone see him at Blue today? Little black suited munchkin spinning 270's onto their flat box??
-
For what it is worth to you guys.. Steven, my park rat, really liked Roundtop's park(s) they have one of those ~30' roller coaster triple humped boxes low to the snow that had enough flip at the end for him to 270 off.. He was loving it.. Cool feature to watch him on..... The park crew was out there the whole time fine tuning things and cheering him on ---- That says a lot for such a small mountain.. DId I mention no wait in line at the lifts???

That may work out really well for my boys........ I will let them know... Ridge has a season pass there and they have a place to stay at Lake Harmony, but I am not invited so I probably won't be able to be there Yeah, he said he saw you there and how you remembered his bib number... That was cool! We haven't been to MC & AM... My boys collect pins - they have about 50 or so different resort pins.. Ask to see the hats if you see us... I bet them briefly - I saw Sean race, he is fast!! and his form looks better than Ridge's - I think he is a year younger and 20 lbs. lighter. I am sure that Ridge would like to have someone to race with.. Hopefully we can make it back to CB B4 the season ends..
-
wooo hooooo! my boy had a 27.50 today! Hey skimom, how come you didn't introduce your self? We met Adam and we had a lot of fun today Ridge really warmed up to the CBracing team at the end of the day....... We may be at JFBB next weekend or Mountain Creek and Alpine Mountain just to say we have been there done that........
-
Not bad at all - I have seen plenty worse crowds.. Lots of ice showing by the end of the day today........... I saw one kid at 30mph+ do a face plant in the fence at the bottom of Hump. Hey skidude....... is 3 helicopters in one day normal for CB?

I will have to give that site a try when I have the time. Thanks

Do it!!!! Early to bed and early to rise, you won't regret it if you can get there early enough to make first tracks. Park to the right where the farthest (skiers left) lift is, that way you can almost ski to your car at the end of the day. The conditions are aways better there (IMHO worth the extra hour drive), less crowds, Elk was my favorite place until last year, when my boys said they didn't like it... No public races, no park.... Come-on show us the money shot... do it!!
-
Correct me if I am wrong, don't most 30 second racers pick a half second with their suits on?
-
I'll have to admit... It was hard to hold back the laughter when my 10 year couldn't wait to get into his tighties.. he could care less how funny he looked, he only wants go real fast!!!!
-
I would suggest to any one visiting to spend the extra drive time and do Elk.. Get there early early, then stop early, 11 or so and head back out when everyone else is headed in for lunch.. Anywhere else recreationally is going to be overcrowded this weekend!! Why was Montage so empty last Sunday? I don't want to miss another day like that there......
-
Send a bunch of them - we cover a alot of slopes... sat-roundtip, sun-camelbutt, mon-bluemound and thats just this weekend --
-
Here's a thought... I asked Anthony how much a Montage would be.. No pun intended.. HEY! What great marketing thing Montages at Montage!! Anyhow, maybe we could convince him to put something together for a reasonable fee in a low resolution for exactly that... Analysis.... not for printing. I know I would pay a reasonable fee whenever we were at Montage to have that done... His camera is super fast!!!

In just a few short weeks I found Skidude at Nastar, PASR, Freeskier - only he knows how many more... I think it is an honor that should be bestowed on him!! This guy promotes skiing in public forums more than anyone I have seen to date. I bet he has blisters on his fingers!! makes me wonder, when does he ski?? Don't anybody get me wrong on this.. I am very impressed.. I love a good debate and I haven't seen the racer vs freestyler debate on this board yet - So I will take a stab at generating a new Topic This excerpt was taken from the Freeskier forum. Read and weep or add a reply!!! From skidude Tanner is a YoYO new kid on the block. Take a look on the skiing industry worldwide, Tanner is a no name fellow, part of a so called "image" marketing strategy. Most of the bigger skiing markets, like the European Alps, Japan and Scandinavia doesn`t even take notice of him. Maybe this is what makes him mad/sad whatever... Bode Miller is a livin legend and among the super stars in the skiing world. Tanner is not havin a clean image (I remember that smokin drugs movie) and that makes him no good model at all. For me, the winner is Bode Miller ! (actually I like the newschool style...) My reply........... Skidude, Holy cow and I thought I was obsessive... Great debate, the Tanner thing.. You should add it to your PASR forum - that should heat things up Think of this... Negative comments spark emotions and attention, albeit negative attention. Keep in mind, that attention is what generates sales... Sales are what keep things rolling... Tanner is no dummy - he IS self promoting, self serving and very calculating or he is a very lucky, yet talented skiier.. In the end, all of the attention is good for the skiing industry as a whole.. I say, "go Tanner, stir the shit up, make a big stink".. Just my humble (yet brutaly honest) opinon.. Signed, The father of a SKIING freestyler and a SKI racer... PS.... Riding is for the majority of people that can't ski.......

I bought these on the spot for the release technology and the number of adjustments. I just had ACL surgery last March - I think they are too heavy for me.. I am interested in hearing some reasonable offers.. They were used in Tahoe, never been down a rail or off a jump, mounted on set of darksides..
-
Did you ever sell these?

Nice shots - Who is the photogrpher, where does he hang? I guess he is for hire, correct? Have him shoot a PM to me....
