You are right, I know exactly zero about the operations at sno. I do know that the overwhelming concensus from several message boards and eyewitness accounts, is that both the website and the product that operations has created in the park is poor. At least thats what everyone is saying. Sorry for pointing out the obvious correlation, I was just wondering if the two were related. You know what. I realize I suck.. because it's not SNO's fault that Ryan neptune hasn't built you guys a decent park for this weekend, is it? As far as the website, for all the money they have been spending, why not bring the website into this millenium? I guess it is a low priority and they are focusin instead on the parks. damn.. got that wrong again. shit.

I worry more about other guys like beamers with wierd tires and stuff. besides 50mph in the snow, aint 80mph open road.

based on reports, I would say that the website quality is in porportion to the rest of the operation, especially the parks... at least that is the feeling I get. It feels amatuerish.

The set up sucks, there is no time to rebuild it and people are complaining. Besides, SNO's mgmnt reads this. InsideSno has been in this thread for an hour.

It was for you and how astute you caught it. The point which you may be happy to know is that what I feared, is already happening. When you have the level of competition with the Revolution Tour and Jib Academy in attendance and they are not happy, that it will take years before SNO will be able to have any credibility park wise again. Now Boulder will gloat and not notch up their game. oh well. Hi JB BTW all - I was told tonight by an expert groomer that the expense of the cat time to take the snow from the pipe and build some legitmate jumps is nearly impossible given the amount of time. Melissa that is what I am referring to, I watched the big air jump which was only 45 feet lip to knuckle at Copper mountain take three full nights of pushing and kneading to get formed at the US Open. Sno is out of time to build any thing for the up coming comps as evidenced by Brians post about the Vermonters that are now down here.

uh.. no disrespect, but that comment in itself says that you don't know much about park skiing which is OK. I tried to use some analogies. Here, would your drinks and dinner have been as good with your friends if you were at a some roadside diner? WHere did you choose to meet and why? Was it to sample the food or was it to hang out? Ideally you want to pick a great place to hang out to have fun with your friends. Correct? Not sure if I am failing at the analogy. The idea of the Jib Academy is to allow kids to ski with full blown park pros. It won't be much fun for them if the pros aren't throwing anything or if the kids who are coming don't have the features to show off thier skills. The kid who started this thread is one of the very best park skiers in the entire region, sponsored head to toe and on the edge of "blowing up" this is his and others opportunity to show the salomon team and thier manager what they got. The question was, will the park be legit. Fair question since many are saying there is not much set up right now.

hey ski.. sean was asking for a park like this for some very sick skiers coming to YOUR mountain. It's not too much to ask if 14 year olds are hitting stuff like this, to have something built for thier idols to hit while they are there. Is it too much to ask ski? why are you on this thread? For the upteenth time, I want all parks in our area to be great, most of all, I want Sno to deliver a quality park for the pros that are coming to this event, with out a decent park, it might as well be an autograph signing. The jib academy is about park skiers hanging and riding with the pros, trading trick tips and generally having a good time. These are Xgames athletes and USFO winners. Sno might as well have the USSA state champs rip a Nastar course with Darron Rahlves at Sno the following week.

I have seen you ski I am surprised by those comments, especially since the Jib Academy is what it is. It's supposed to be at parks that have pro caliber parks so they can come show off and the kids get to ski right along with them. Waterville was an awesome event last year. I wish I could get some video up quick. Did you read the reports from Appalachain? BTW Justin, I was at the USFO, I watched nearly every run. The jumps were not horrid, where did you get that from? Whiners on NS? Those that won it had no problem with them. Hell even my 14 year old kid didn't have any problems with them. damn.. this isn't looking good at all..
