  1. why are we going to hug and kiss and make up?
  2. Good god ski.. do you have any idea of what you are doing or who you are talking to? Any clue of who seany is as a person or as a skier? If you did, you wouldn't be talking that way about sno or seany. it was a legitimate question. Sean stands in very close position to win one of the biggest nationwide searches for unknown freestyle skiers, not that he is unknown. You do your beloved home hill no favors at all talking him down.. lay off your personal attacks and hate towards 14 yr old kids who love to ski, would ya?
  3. hey ski.. so you sit around talking to 4 individuals about my kid and me. really? Wanna know what Ridge says about you? hahahahahahahaha better yet wanna hear what the Camelback picarillo said about you and your oldest daughter. Hey Gus do you still read this board? You wanna clear the air? hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha naaaaaa..... I don't stoop to the sewage levels you obviously live in.
  4. I think it depends on the level of rider and the park layout. The crews cruising the big park at boulder tend to stay there and lap that trail all day, there are a half dozen or so jibs at the bottom in the plaza for them to hit. Freedom park (easiest) is by far the most popular and there are a couple of very small jumps if that.
  5. who is that?
  6. Of course! It is the best event in the entire region for park skiers under 16 -
  7. I think posting this picture at the top of each park trail should work.
  8. riderrossi are you reading this thread?
  9. It's wierd how guys who are supposedly so into the snow get so ignorant about people who have opinions different than thiers. I think leashes are grea,t everyone should try them if they don't work, you might consider trying something that I had better success with it might work. OMG a new idea. oh nooooooooo! but oh no......... hahahahaahah the blasphemy... OMG the USSA certified level 67 with 30 years will roll over in their graves. hahahahaah I bet these are the same guys who don't want to see skiers in the olympic pipe because they don't have the FIS points from 25 countries. hahahahaah
  10. Is that really saying something? do you believe that you can't teach and old dog a new trick too? You think your way is the only right way and that anyone elses way, advice or opinon is wrong. Funny how you can so angry over something that is supposed to be fun. You and your type are the reason ridge doesn't race. For the record, he doesn't like wasting a whole day in spandex for (2) 50 second runs and I can't say I blame him. I think it is great that some kids are into it, but I totally respect why he isn't. Ask Ridge why he doesn't race. he will tell you straight up. Is skiing fun for you Ski? Doesn't seem like it. Leashing kids and barking orders from behind is so you! Keep the faith man!
  11. I unhooked their tips and encouraged them to catch me. How do you know that teaching kids while skiing backwards is the worst way? Ever tried it? Teachers teach from the front of the class not from the back. Don't they? Is there something that magically happens on the hill that allows them to hear and see you better as you have a leash tied to them. hahahahahah give me a break! Jeez, are you guys that dense that you can't adapt basic teaching skills to the hill? Please take your antiquated ways and put them away for a awhile and try something new, you just might learn something. you and ski aren't that old and fuddy duddy, stuck in your superior ways, that nothing can be improved on? Are you? If it were up to you guys, we would probably be on straight skis doing stem christies.
  12. POC for what it is worth I don't believe that ski or ski head have spent any time on center mount twins at 175cm+ they only know what they know. All my race skis are gone. I now ride a stiff Volkl mid fat twin, 84cm under foot at 18m sidecut - 169cm traditional mount and it rips and turns. I am going to 90cm under foot with my next ski at 175cm + in a center mount. I am 165lbs 5'9"
  13. I think I like you The problem is they don't read the signs. I spotted for hours sunday, doing my best to educate people, most people apologized or said thank you. Those that are in the park running across landings and stopping behind jumps have no idea. Please people don't scream at them, just nicely ask them to step aside and watch.
  14. It really depends on the kid ski. Mine took to a leash like dogs that have never been on a leash. I guess some kids take to barking orders from behind, I personally think that kids would rather have thier teacher in front of them. BTW Nips took out a dad and kid on leash at CB in the pipe of all places.
  15. doug catches, you got it backwards.
  16. I was referring more to the self-destructing noobs as their targeted market.
  17. Maybe you haven't, but your posts have changed. They have more of an edge to them. plus, are you sure you aren't getting just a wee bit of a superiority complex going with living out there?
  18. Nice to know that they are doing well with their target market. Thanks for the report.
  19. the new glenn looks like more fun!
  20. I switched back to skiing when my kids were 2 and 3. same similar situation if not the same. If I had it all over again, I would have bought twins right off the get go. They are much easier to maneuver around. plus....... Lessons aside, playing "catch me" taught the kids to turn so much more than barking "turn! turn!" from behind, tying thier tips together, leashes etc. I tried them all. Ski backwards in front of them making gradual turns and holler catch me! Some how they instinctively learn to turn, at least mine did. It made for hilarious moments when 'dad" wrecks skiing backwards. Have fun with teaching/skiing with them, they will be better than you before you know it! BTW - if you don't have skills in skiing already, forget the advice, get them into the lesson programs. 75cm if memory serves me right.
  21. leaving now.
  22. Jon is very unknown and fits the bill, he should win just because of his unique style.
  23. Buckmans Rail Jam at King of Prussia Mall - be there or be square.
  24. So, back to the CB forum at hand.. Wy is the pipe only 270 long? They stole all the snow from the jumps and have had 3 months to blow enough. It reminds me exactly of all the hype about the 13 footer at CB last year. What is the pitch of the pipe anyhow? BTW PA does have an awesome superpipe, at Seven Springs. Is anyone from this area entered for the Revolution Tour on March 1st?
  25. In response.. how many of the 60-100 (which is it?) bought tickets tonight? What kind of kids are you raising? I know why my kid quit racing, because it is full of people like you! So Glen, Ski can say stuff about my kids? Can I say stuff about his?
