Great! What time does registration open?

We have friends coming in from Ohio this weekend and were thinking about visiting Blue. Do you guys still do that Sunday Morning thing? Nips, Matt Heffernan, Brian Kiss and some others not confirmed yet. Maybe some of the BB skiers and some more of the Ohio guys too. I'll be filming. Who can come out early and show the kids around?

Oh duh.... I forgot, Sno is hosting the last stop of the Chevy Revolution Tour on March 2nd. Is that why it was scheduled so late? Well they got 2 weeks to farm the snow, bench and cut it. I guess it is doable if they work around the clock and start pushing and kneading now. I hope it stays cold well into March so the public can use it. Questions: what direction will the pipe be facing and what is the degree of that slope. Any word on how long this pipe is going to be 500' - 600' - 700'!!!???

message boards are for expressing opinions and such. making a reply like that with out expressing why you disagree is more toolish than his post. IMO of course!

no worries dave, I know you have your heart into this. Really though, do your self a service get off this board and research via google pipe building and you will get hours of info and you will start learning what some of us already know. Please do not build a pipe at this point in the game - a crappy 22 footer will do more harm than good. It takes way too long to do one correctly, there are going to be huge voids and our fluky weather is going to do a number on it before it is probably even open and if people travel to come see it and are disappointed well.............. that damage will take years to recover. Mountain Creek is on that path. Here anyone raving about thier all park south mountain? Read Methods post in the closed thread. Seriously.

I got one... been playing with it. Interesting that it works on atmosphereic pressure so it needs calibrated for altitude each time you use it. tough find an accurate benchmark. The temp doesn't work well with body heat so close other than that I am still learning it..

You have mentioned me in no less than 6 posts that I have read this evening. You must be really concerned or in awe or just plain obsessed with me. Will a moderator doing something about that? Instead of bashing everyone who has something to say about sno's park, why don't you get involved in a positive way and help Sno's management with delivering what they have been promising. The pipe will be a waste of resources this late. Figure out something else. You aren't dumb, why do you insist on alienating yourself amongst snowlovers with posts like I just quoted? It doesn't make sense. I am sure that sno notices how you post ski. think about it... quit trying to form some adversarial combative crap amongst everyone who is on here who loves the snow.. word seany.. I know that you know more about that hill from a park skiers perspective than probably anyone else. If you are saying it won't work then I believe you. Here is another idea, why not use the cutter to shape an awesome quarter pipe or hip? Is there a good place with enough in-run to build it so that you can air out 20' plus?
