  1. welcome back rasheeb grilled steeze gupta
  2. GO here for trick tips for skiers. THere is a trick tip forum that has a 1000 members.
  3. yes and no, thats just my price too.
  4. You really are an ass. I am a realist, no hate, I know what it takes to build a quality pipe. I don't have to name drop to you or anyone else for that matter, however I do lead a group of 300 members who are fiercy dedicated to see skier half pipe in 2010 - so please get over trying to degrade or downplay what I post. I just posted another artcle on how many cat hours along with approximate dimensions that it took to build Mammoths' 22' pipe, last season. Even if SNO has 3 cats dedicated for 400 hours - it is going to take at least a week if three Cats work around the clock. if they don't farm the snow in, it going to be crappy quality. CB screwed up their 13' pipe last season because it was hurriedly shaped. Key to a quality pipe is farming the snow. do you know what that is? 500 hrs of cat time is extremely expensive, especially when you consider that they are building it with out dirt grading. Copper Mountains pipe for the USFO took 3 weeks to build for example - there is a photo news article on their build if you want to learn somethin. The park builder from SnowPark NZ did the Copper cutting. I watched them every other night tweaking it for the USFO comp. If Sno does it quicker than the big boys with out an experienced operator(s), what do you think will happen? I know the facts about pipe building, do you?
  5. Why.. You are a strange bird... I am superstoked that teh information I got is wrong and that they do have a cutter. I know peeps form cutter camp and from some from other very large parks who own Zaugg cutter(s) - They were wrong.. For those who don't know, I want Sno to deliver everything they promised, it will only help parks more if they compete with other hills. A 22' pipe will bring people in from the whole North east region. Provided it is open obviously. It is comp season now, opening it now well it sort of is too late. Yeah man, stokage!!!! approx. 15' - 20' - 65' - 20' - 15 slope/deck/tranny/deck/slope 130' width is what is needed. BTW more info while I was looking for dimensions ............
  6. I post mine all the time.. no big deal.
  7. DING DING .. you are correct. Not that it matters I am still confused on this delivery date. Why so late in the season. It really doesn't look like it will be open and if it is - it will like get hurried and be of poor quality. That is a shit load of snow that they have to farm. ANYWAYS..... Are there plans of grading it out of dirt this summer? YO! Santa, you need some more experience with park stuff, really.... and so you know.. The Park at SNO has sucked and is sucking and this is coming from people who have been there and who do know parks. so really.... 22' pipe is nothing but better for the larger tranny for those who are skilled on an 18'.. What I need to know is the best guess for opening it. WHat is it looking like now for a date?
  8. uh huh.... pm me with an offer I can't refuse. needs to be less than shop/proform
  9. Well I'll be damned. It is brand new too.. And this cutter will remain at Sno...... Any ideas of what that cost? When is the best guess of having a pipe cut and open to the public? Or is this going to be like Mountain Creek? Assuming the weather is favorable for snow blowing, assuming that the farming of the snow will be complete and that it will be sufficiently benched in to allow it to be cut. I am assuming that ryan or someone on his crew are the only qualified ones to run it. When are they due back?
  10. this is preliminary heresay about a manufacturing run defect, if your serial number is affected, Volkl will replace. They are very stand up like that. right now there is a high incidence comparitively to their other park skis, it seems that it is only happening with really big jumps and pipe skiing. BTW - I watched intently at the USFO a lot of people were trashing their brand new skis with ripping bindings out. I really don't think you have anything to worry about.
  11. You forgot to mention that the ticket/pass is good at BB and JF and they are 15 minutes apart.
  12. PM sent.
  13. I am seeing and hearing some issues with bindings ripping out of the walls and bridge. I saw the Volkl rep rather befuddled with Walter Woods when his toe piece ripped out in the pipe at copper last week. I don't think you have to worry about anything unless you are boosting out of the pipe 10 foot or hucking yourself over 50 footers, but I thought I would mention that there apparently is some issue with a manufacturing problem. I ride the karmas and I am thrilled with them and the overall concensus of the wall and bridges is that it is and excellent stiff ski. wait till late spring to buy for next year.
  14. then it is all about the style......
  15. What is interesting is that the most expensive pipe cutter in the world was scheduled to be delivered for the last month of the season and you say that it isn't Sno's fault? I was told be several people that Sno did not purchase a Zaugg directly. Certainly they could be wrong and they are renting it for the upcoming events. IF you were involved with the park scene on a bigger scale than just Sno you would understand that this is huge news. I lead a couple of other groups of skiers that are actively working to get pipe included in 2010 either as a demonstration type of event or a separate venue. Getting a large pipe in our area is big news. I just want the facts. I won't let it go
  16. word.. reports are coming in from central PA now that Blues Park is worth visiting now. Too bad it is so late in the season.
  17. Can I get in on that? That "call out" quoted above is stimuli for starting shit, IMO... Furthermore, you also know that you start crap directly at me "all the time". You can't be that oblivious. Interesting enough, cyber bully conversation came up at dinner the other night in reference to a teacher asking the question "who here has been bullied? I suggested to them to have thier teacher check this board and to look at your posts. I post something about a mountain or a policy or whatever and you will frequently then reply with a direct personal comment/attack about my kids or me. If that isn't starting shit, then what is? My opinion of a ski hill or your rebuttals?
  18. interesting.....
  19. I wish I was up there to verify what I believe. I would go to CB today and then JF after lunch and choose which one I should have spent the day at. I am fairly certian that I would prefer JF..
  20. Need any skis? Consider it sold.
  21. I was talking to a Squaw Valley skier Miles Honen and coincidently somehow we got off on the subject of the Honda Tour and Darron Rahlves, he said he hit the park with Darron and he does slide, switch and 270's off of boxes. Btw Miles is 14 yo. I have also heard Bode that Bode throws 360's off of jumps, but thats not first hand info.
  22. LIKE HELL! when and if you guys get a 22 foot pipe I will spread the word so fast that it will make your head spin. The point is, I know a lot of people who would love to hear the news and will gladly pay the price of admission to ride a 22 foot pipe. Even my son who was in the 18' pipe at Copper last week would be super stoked to ride one that big... Very few people have ever seen a pipe that size including myself. Some Santa you are. I was looking for a present.
  23. IS THE 22 FOOT ZAUGG THERE AND WHEN DO YOU oh nevermind............
  24. Darron better slide the box if he shows up.
