It's something that should be experienced at least once, record setting skiers per acre is an amazing thing.

Get first chairs, make a point to get there early and everything will be great till about 11am.

With everything considered and while the formerCBskiguy is giving great references, I would take my friend to SNO for that lesson this weekend. With the new snow and holiday weekend, everywhere else is going to be a total zoo and Ski's reference for an instructor at Sno is gold.

I heard the Park Builders at Boulder took a look at Waterville last week so they will probably top what Waterville had set up. I heard the plaza, but I don't know for sure.

He is into the social thing with his school friends. We are a long ways from the slopes and his friends don't ski, so he rather hang at home. I might make him go this weekend, except there is an "important party" Saturday night.. His girlfriends. So I guess he better stay at home and go to that. LOL!

she lives in her own little world and quite frankly, I can't afford the whole tuition, unless I dramatically change something. A lot of the "skiing" schools require the student to bring thier own curriculum from home and they are on thier own to see that it gets done.

Funny to read this thread this morning. Huge misconception that I "push". I should push my kids in a lot of circumstances, but I don't as a general rule although I have on occaision. Things do aggravate me, for example, nips doesn't seem to be interested in practicing for the US Open at the end of this month, I mention it, but I don't "push". I lay stuff out in front and have the kids make thier own decisions when it comes to competitive snow sports and they make thier own choices. Ridge doesn't really ski any more because he has other things he wants to do and I am fine with that. The skiing industry especially related to parks, is my newest 7 year hobby. Wierd as it is, I seem to go on 7 year obsessions. Before skiing, it was surf fishing, before fishing it was computers, before computers it was woodworking, before woodworking was.. hahahaha guess! Anyways........... any eyewitness reports on the 22' pipe at Sno?

Why are you on skiing boards? I thought I might try and find where you were sick of skiing and one of the reasons was because of clothes but gave up reading your last 10 posts. as far as I know it is the largest youth skiing board, where kids do express thier opinions. You siad kids don't care. If you noticed, those threads seem to be equally divided amongst the kids who either love or hate Bode. You said kids don't care. They care enough to post about him. I think it is interesting to watch how fast a BOde thread grows on a freeskiing site. That says a lot, because there is not another racer who garners that much interest. Like him or not ski, he is very good for skiing. BTW I don't need to give NS credibility, in spite of the atmosphere, that board has a huge following by many industry professionals including coaches who want to remain anonymous - you may or may not, have no idea of who is on there on a regular basis, but you can imagine, right?
