nips and I leave today. best days were monday and tuesday when the crowds were down to nothing, had no trouble finding fresh. This apparently is as good as it ever gets here. So we got lucky.

I was sitting on that lift and it was the first time I was ever scared that I can remember. So what are you saying? That I wasn't on that lift or that I have no experience with wind or that patrol and weather reports at the base were all wrong?

BULL SHIT I was on a lift that actually blew so f'n hard I was looking straight down. GUsts were to 60mph++++++++ today at Jackson hole ooooops sorry I just read the rest of the thread...

In case anyone misreads my posts - and DH this goes to you. This event is the best and largest off site rail jam I have ever seen or been to and all the indications are this year's is going to be even bigger. $30 bucks is a steal. Really if you want to compete or watch an awesome event this is certainly the one to be at.

I just spent the day here at Jackson Hole. I can see why on a powder day it is good. I have skied over 75 probably close to 100 resorts and Jackson Hole is not all of that. Give me Utah any day.

I am not an experienced hiker but yeah.. I got your point. Really though we take so much time off during the winter that while it might not be possible to take more time off to do this, It is still on the list to do. Nips roomate in JH has doen Tucks 6 times, so lets see what stories he comes back with.

listen to this.. if there is an argument in a park thread then the argument should be settled in the park. if there is an argument in a racing thread then the argument should be settled on the race course. Message boards are for people to post random stuff, voice thier opinions, or for 75% of the people who use messages boards, to lurk and laugh or to read and learn, or both! There are some good points in this thread. I think Sno WANTS to have the best of everything, they are just spanking new to the business, they inherited left over problems, they have made decisions on thier best guesses.. now that they are into thier second season, I am positive that they are at wits end and something will dramatically change for next season. IF there is a next season. It concerns me that that according to some trip reports they have been empty. They are obviously trying to boost crowds with the advertising, it is a really a shame that this fallout has started. Parkwise, IMO they needs to listen to thier lead riders not Ryan Neptune, he doesn't have a vested interest in SNO he is paid a fee. He said it loud and clear, in a recently posted email - he was going to "asses" the snow situation and go from there.
