Method, you write the best reports ever, even if you do .... Sorry I missed you, I didn't get there till 3pm. There was a really strong skier group from central PA region.. I met a crew from 7Springs who were amazed at everything. BTW I noticed too that crew was missing in action.tonight.

Wow! Uhhhh, that kind of money is going to bring some pros in. You guys are hooking in with Sno, oh well.... I mean I am rooting for them and all, but they aren't getting it done, as of tonight from Sno kids who are going to Boulder for thier park. I wonder if Ryan himself will maintain the way Andy did last year, probably not. I know it is early, but will there be a gap and what type of boxes or rails? Will Billy Van Gilder and the USASA do the judging again?

hahahahahaaha noooooo no one ever remembers the good. Can you imagine if the nightly news only had good things to report, how boring it would be? Like I was saying I went with a certain expectation and what was there, exceeded my expectation. Now, I have become accustomed to not expecting much, so it is much easier to impress me now. Hows that for a bit of negativity?

they are rolling in all different times. tom may be there early, nips will be there early, steve won't be ther til 1 or2 - it may run well into the night depending on the weather

THere is a reunion happening tomorrow for the Rountop Riders at Big Boulder. For those of you who follow the scene and rising stars, Tom Wallisch and Steve Stepp will be there all day along with the whole gang of guys and gals that made up that group. Steve did the reconnaissance and Tom is stoked to ride a great park. Some of the 4bi9 group is supposed to show up, down from NH & VT for this gathering. Bring a camera or camcorder or just come and shred. This is the day to be there if you are a park skier..

Good to hear that the conditions i saw on Christmas held true. How was the gaper quotient?

Tom Wallisch, Steve Stepp along with a bunch of Roundtop Riders will be at BB tomorrow. There is a large group of skiers home for the holidays making a reunion out of it tomorrow. There will be lots of cameras and lots of throwdowns, if you are park skier be there tomorrow.

I am fairly certain that Camelback is in much better shape than Blue. They certain got a lot more natural snow - there is snow still on the ground even after all the rain.. BTW - I forgot to add that I saw park crew steadily making the rounds keeping every thing groomed in the 3 hours we were there and were quick to close and repair a box that had top sheet damage.

On any given "packed powder" day at CB - I would think the majority of the people would call the conditions icy.

I haven't been to Blue this year but from all the detailed info posted I think that Camelback is in better shape in most if not all the categories. Something to think about if someone reads this and is trying to decide on paying for tickets at Blue vs. Camelback.
