so how is the 22 footer going this year. Do they still have the quarter million dollar 22' pipe cutter? curious
-
hmmmmmm ok if you say so. Ive drove from boulder to his house and it sure as hell felt like 45 minutes and that Sno was just a little more up the road and around the corner.
-
The point is when he and others are home..... I am sure they would rather drive 15 minutes than the 45 they are.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaaaaaaaaaaaa sorry.. Couldn't help myself. Here, let me clue everyone in on something, just in case this isn't known. It's because they drive extra distance to go to other parks. The fastest progressing park kid, with an uncanny cat-like natural talent, that I have ever seen, lives 15 minutes from SNO, and..........

I now ski 105 under foot for everything.

this is true.. it's mind blowing to me on how one trail early season can get mobbed and yet, when we get to the end of the season and our hills have full coverage, no one comes out. Our hills should save some of their marketing money and go nuts with getting the word out starting late february. JMHO

.. hmmmm interesting... there is a promotion to increase traffic on the weekday when it might be possible that traffic is down because of your observations? just guessing and stirring the pot.

Are you sure They were in eastern pennsylvania? The Description fits 7 Springs but is south of Pittsburgh. The only PA resorts (to the best of my memory) with lodging at the base that you would ski down to are Bear Creek (which is only 5 years old) and Seven Springs - out of those two, only Seven Springs has a restaurant at the top, which might have included a bar - not sure if there is one there now. Camelback, I think, had beer at one time at the top, not sure about that now (lots of CB people here) however they don't have lodging that you would then ski to at the base of the slopes, unless your friend is thinking about the condos by Laurel glade?

thats too much work. for park boards just hot glue.
-
for sure.. you go a little bit west to ohio, Indiana, Michigan and western NY there are multiple park comps every weekend. We have a dozen or so with in a couple of Hours of the biggest metropolitan areas in the states and we got diddly squat. Why is this?

Buckman's Boulder Bash 2/21/09
Papasteeze replied to johnnypowder's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
John - You might consider adding a competitor name line as part of the registration. I am not competing, but I am registered. Would be nice to see a 12-18 category for the men and then an open category that might have a higher registration fee? Little late now, but in talking to some kids at Seven Springs and Roundtop this weekend........ -
