  1. I just picked a day out of the air.
  2. It's so marginal for snow making the couple of days before that there is no way they can predict what is going to happen.. lay off them, they will announce as soon as they know WHAT they can do.
  3. hahahahahahaa the answer is in there, you just need to pick the one you like. subject to change, of course.

  5. Merry Widow would work slope wise but it is just too crowded with joeys. How about Multi-Weg, the trail next to Big Boulder - it flattens out at the bottom and might accommidate a 40' high mound of snow and runout. It needs to have a maxium 70-80' air to be done right.... anything smaller.... naaaaaa JMHO!!!!!!!!!
  6. Exactly.. With all the hub-bub about RCR closing thier jumps this season. This would send one hell of a good message across the industry. I have some side views somewhere. If anyone has good pics from the side, it would be appreciated.
  7. It looks like a really good sustained cold spell is on the way. I have noticed that the actual temps at Big Boulder are about 3 degrees colder at night than the surrounding online weather reports are saying. http://www.accuweather.com/forecast-15day....24&metric=0 Jump suggestions: small jumps in freedom up to 15-20' lip to knuckle medium in merry widow up to 25'-30 Big Boulder. Rather than a step down jump line of 3 jumps 30-50' - How about build one true step up, 35'ish lip to knoll to ~75' to toe of landing slope? - It might not be possible just because of the sheer volume of snow that would be needed on the Slope on Big BOulder trail. Anyone else feeling it? I'll try to get some pics up showing some examples of the step up.
  8. Dude, I heard parking lot clean up at Boulder is available, plus you get all the recyclables.
  9. That was us. had a housefull from Ohio. That logo is not stylish? huh hahhahaa - I thought you were doug. BTW - could someone fix the formatting when you quote by add spaces. thanx
  10. WOW... lots of PASR people were there today. I didn't seee any of you did I? If you see me, ask for PASR stickers or tees, hoodies. Old guy with bright blue jacket either filming or lapping Big Boulder.
  11. ^^^ Honestly, I wondered recently how he was doing since I hadn't heard anything, not on my list to search that night. I believe that he will do well and will place very well but never consistently. Thats not his style.
  12. no.. those comments are distinctly different. Then again, hahahahahaha interesting test. I don't know any emo dressed skiers, although it would be funny if i did wide angle low down shot into the sun and see what happens on NS .
  13. Yeah it fits in the -any press is good press- category. I don't follow trans, interesting dynamic, different than what I am used to. Second thought. If TWS only puts a couple of videos up a week, certainly they would have an idea of how it would be commented on. So they put it up knowingly that it would get ripped for the riders and camera work. Schibbs, submit your work!
  14. Haven't been following. Question, if or when he wins a race, do you have a stock reply created yet? I heard that they scrapped flash due to racers with Iphones and had to start from scratch to get revisions up.
  15. Are you serious? those comments make the video look like no one likes it. searching for words. But yeah, is getting a video posted on that site an achievment? because based on the comments, I don't think it does Boulder any favors. Is there a way to see how many views it has had? Here is a more positively commented video from Open Day from the Roundtop Riders. http://newschoolers.com/web/content/videos/id/157059/
  16. I noticed they added that they are going to try and blow snow tonight. I checked the webcam and yep - they are blowing as of 12/23 at 12:10am
  17. We will be there later in the day, early evening..
  18. So wait, I'm confused, are there any pipes graded at Sno? Is the tubing hill steep enough for a super pipe?
  19. The site looks great. A little graphic heavy for an old guy like me. When you click on specific park and the features pop up. I would like to see the either photo or CAD or even better yet , a short video clip of someone hitting it in slow mo
  20. Haven't really checked it yet, thought I would post that it was up. What do you guys think? http://www.bigboulderpark.com/
  21. Oh thats right you have a house at the top of north ridge and look across the valley all the time. or you used google earth. stfu
  22. WOW - I had respect for you and your posts/information/contributions last season. That is diminished. NO doubt that CB has a successful business model. They target the weekend, once or twice a season family ticket and do that well. I laugh when I read about RCR's industry-leading initiative and know that CB actually led the way last season with closing lifts in cold temps and snow for safety reasons. Tell me ski911 - Why did Camelback do thier end of the season Rail Jam? What was the thinking behind that? What was the response here? THey started making snow that night because of a scheduled Channel 10 newscast because they thought it would be cold enough to actually make snow. (it wasn't) If you call that making sense then so be it. Margies First? hahahahahahahahaahahah yeah that makes sense.
