-

I couldn't find any pictures. I thought the Line binding was onto something if they weren't so stinking heavy. Lots of park skiers blew thiers up too.
-
well aint that somethin.. is this the earliest in CB history?
-
All you that took my date and time and went a few minutes earlier SUCK hahahaha I wanna change to nov 23rd 8pm
-
nooooooooo!!!! well shit, let me destroy that. your mountain is not covered in snow yet, you don't have enough verticle, its too far away, the website.... the lifts are too slow, the jibs too short, there aren't any jumps, kids complain about a wierd vibe last year, there are no plans for a pipe, 12 oz soda for 2.50 is too much, rails are sticky, landings weren't steep enough, there are ditches in the parking lot, there is mud everywhere, the little blue ball on Ians hat is gay, uhhhh... shit, thats all I got. hehehee mad props for getting open and apparently staying open! Doing a fantastic job up there. Boulder Rocks!

It is my opinion that people who hate on the people who hate on the people who hate boulder aren't any better than the original hater.

Ski4Food is legit. no worries. btw.. salomon bindings in the park have a reputation for not being durable. This is well substantiated. Salomon knows this, thier new binding looks better. Will know a lot more about them mid season. Nips is as hard or harder on equipment than most except he weighed under 100lbs in previous years. remember he spends 75% of his time in the park.
-
this is true. I keep moving nips salomons from ski to ski as he trashes them. He is up to 125 lbs now. it will be interesting to see at what point they start failing.

I was watching park crew cleaning up stuff a couple of hours ago http://72.9.27.156:4000/user/cgi-bin/view_S_t_uF.thtml

Another Trip report with lots of pictures and info about Sean. http://newschoolers.com/web/content/news/news_id/1702/

so $200 worth of ski movies for pics of you in an Elvis get up isn't worth mentioning on a snow related message board? lame.
-
ahhhh yep, but with out that, these boards would be oh so boring.... it's all good stuff. My thoughts about the Sno aquisition have already been stated. I still stand by them. By the way I am super stoked about some of the venues they are bringing to our area and jealous that they aren't all at Boulder. haahahaha Hope you guys get open soon. Missed you at Boulder Saturday

I spend a lot of time on NS so I reference info in the event others aren't aware. This thread is about Sean Jordan and giving him props on getting noticed. Not about NS, so lay off. Sorry for all the recent links to NS just a lot of stuff happening now that preseason is happening and a local kid at 14 getting sent to Switzerland for his skiing and being from Sno is big news....

where theres smoke............................

Yeah, so I am surprised no one has mentioned that Sean, 14 yrs old got the hook up with Jibij pro shop and is on his first trip sponsored by Jibij.com Others who know him better than I do should add more. Way to go Sean! Read this for more info. http://newschoolers.com/web/content/viewcu...jid/762/id/802/

I wouldn't be too worried. That area produces well known talent year after year.. I have been mentioning newschoolers a lot lately but it is a great source of information. I know that the MidWest has bigger and better more organized park events than our area. Go here and introduce yourself and maybe you can get some leads on what is happening when and where. Michigan is large state, it will help to be more specific. http://newschoolers.com/web/forums/forumthreads/cat_id/39/

yeah it really does. They are much more pleasant to watch in good resolution. I save to .flv and upload just under 100 meg - (thats what is advised for best quality) It's nice keeping all the videos in one place though. I dunno, I may start uploading to another location. The funny thing is half of each day was filmed with custom presets turned way up and the second half was with normal settings, there is very little difference in the colors that I can tell.. Camera must be broke. hahahaha

They changed the park staff again this year and have not done any pre season rail jams this year. They used to be very focused on parks but have been steadily easing up each year. I believe Liberty will have a stronger park scene this year but that is a guess based on last seasons trends. So many roundtop kids have thrown in the towel with Roundtop that they are coming 2 hours east to big boulder now. There are several snowboarders in that same group that are making the hike.

I guess if I were in your shoes. I would want the most popular name brands, is that what you are asking? If it is then I am going to put a plug in for the products that I am most familiar with. Go with Armada AR6 and Salomon SPK. as mentioned, try on the boots first before deciding if they are the right fit for you. If you really want some help and education via message boards for park equipment, go to newschoolers. this is an extremely fast moving forum and if you search certain brands you can get volumes of comments and reviews. Best of Luck. Click here for Park Equipment Information
