I worry that freestyle jumping might progress to the way ussa aerials competitors are certified.

The silliest part of that is that they are increasing thier focus on rails. Hello? you have to hit a small jump to land on the steel sideways. oh thats real smart.. jump onto steel sideways or jump onto the snow with your skis forward. hmmmm yeah.. lets jumps sideways onto some steel, that is so much safer.

They usually have about 8 on that trail normally if my memory serves me right. 2 row of Boxes at the top leading to a jump with differently shaped lips, then to two rails, then the wide boxes at the bottom. Anybodies guess on what will be up for tomorrow. I would imagine with the anticipated crowd that there will be a lot more stuff than 8 jibs and 2 jumps, plus they get a chance to show off the new stuff that was built. It will be good whatever it is. no worries!

$20 dollars for one trail. what a rip I am claiming that that Boulder will have the longest park season of the entire East coast. We are talking about potentially 150 days if the weather stays cold enough to not create havoc on what they are blowing now. Boulder has set a new standard as far as I am concerned. I will be there. Crews from MC and Roundtop are coming along with some people all the freakin way from Ohio. I am lending one kid who stuck in Philly with out his gear some boots and skis so he can take part. Yeah the stoke should be freakin awesome. oh did anyone notice the forecast for 1-2 inches of fresh snow?

Reminder everyone.. The opening is weather permitting, it looks like rain is on the way. Temps were 20.2 at Boulder last night, so it appears that everyone who turned on the AC and opened thier freezer doors helped. Keep thinking cold, tonight looks good and maybe if we all think snow.... that the impending forecast.... will be an all snow event!!!! Boulders topography is certainly conducive to a little geographic micro climate. THINK SNOW!

Think Boulder

No where close last season. Mt Snow park rats will tell you that thier park sucked last year. With Peak they will probably have thier faith renewed. There was NOTHING park related in New England to speak of until mid January last season. We traveled a loop first week of January to no avail. It was good to come back home after that week. Boulder had a respectable park from the 2nd week of December.
