Word is getting out that Boulder had the longest park season of anyone on the entire east coast.

its actually a lot cheaper to live in a hotel than pay a mortgage and associated utilities. yeah the big move! still a pipe dream.

apology accepted. the appraisal appreciated 50k, less fees and negative ammoritization plus discount will probably break even - there is a new builder up there now and prices have gone up and yes, the market has gone down. Would like to stick it out until the new hotel is open, but it has out lived its usefulness. we travel too much now and it is a drain not a convienance anymore. fully furnished at $325 at the top of the hill views of the slopes backing up to protected woodlands. The beach house and personal residence is also for sale. I probably will keep the beach house and rent it out this upcoming season.

What forecast are you looking at? It was explained that they are pushing to get freedom covered first. They announced all day long on Saturday "10 days". OBVIOUSLY weather permitting. yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Experience and attention to detail. He understands both race and park ski tunes and repairs. I don't know how many years he has tuning skis but he is quick and efficient and listens well. Each time I have had him do work, it is usually for something specific, so I explain exactly what needs to be done and he has always delivered. Oh, he reads or used to read this board too

They were announcing it all day long at the Mike and Matts Rail Jam - November 3rd + 10 days equals November 13th or earlier, weather permitting. It also depends on snow coverage and your definition of "open" Think COLD temps this week.

Big Boulder is still planning to blow as soon as temps allow. The forecast for temps are marginal but the plan is to open with Freedom Park first. It is possible (with cold temps) that next weekend that there will be some jibs up on Freedom first.

No... wrong..... there is a strong contingent out of the Harrisburg area who are pissing and moaning about not knowing of this jam earlier. I dunno, it's cool if you want to keep this thing low keyed and sub dued, but I would think that they would want to get as many people as possible to thier shop. maybe not.

we have a house there, it's easier to go up Friday night than Saturday morning, about 2 1/2 hour drive.

thats all you got to say? how long is the rail? whats the inrun going to be surfaced with? how much gap? with the rail be skier friendly? why is the box steeper than normal set ups, something new?

It has been my observation that parks are attracting more and more skiers. Twin tip ski sales are biggest growth segment of the market, every other segment is either leveled off or declining. Parks are just a part of the ski scene. most spend a portion of thier time in the park, not all of it. Most every park rat when polled would prefer to take powder runs than take a rail run. Most park rats also like to go fast so ripping runs down groomers is fun too. It's apparent more and more so, that parks are a selling point. I don't think ski resorts are speculative in nature, they are reactive. If there is a demand they will build it.

where are you from. we usually head up Friday nights, but rarely ski.

I didn't think to white balance at night. I have only done that during daylight hours. I got a lot to learn with moving stuff around after the music is added. It is a pain in the ass to figure out how to move clips to the beat of the music, to many gaps get created, I somehow chopped the song and it repeats 3 times in the middle like a broken record! hahahah anyways nips made his first edit and that was mine.
