I have no clue as to what Ridge did, but he decked the last jump hard after clearing it 2 times before while following in his brother. Small stress crack to his tibia - talk about a season ender. So........... I am hoping/betting that BB sold enough $25 tickets to make saturday worthwhile and that they are seriously considering opening for next weekend.

At the beginning of the season, I noticed park crew at BB eager to solicit comments from the riders and they took those comments to heart. As mid season came I noticed that the hype was missing. I personally like bravado and would have liked to have seen more hype. They did change and freshen parks on a weekly basis which is great for those who regularly ride there. Towards the end of the season, I started hearing comments on areas which could should be improved. An interesting dynamic started to occur in that, those commments were not being directed to the people who could do something about it. Why? I can only guess, but if comments were rebutted they way they were to me on Saturday then I think I understand.. In a nutshell, the most consistent complaint I heard is that the landings were too flat and too short. PS... thanks for putting out the salt, it made a huge difference.

Nips said he wanted to dress like it was another day at the office. Sucked we got there so late. traffic was a b*^ch My skin is thick, no worries! I am always nice, albeit direct, but nice..... Had some good chats with people there. in the heads up category, Build tables next year to offset the lack of steepness on your park trails. My first impression was wow - If they can push that crap into that nice little set up, then why can't that be done during the season? Then some things were brought to my attention. I guess the point that I heard that stuck the most was "baby steps"... CB's intent is to improve, just slowly with the people they already have in place. If parks continue to be popular, CB is set up ideally for the center section of thier mountain to be all park. Props to CB for spending the money they did for the Cat time and personel to pull off that errr comp - Yes.. you should do another! The Jam Format.. well, I am guessing that that is part of CB's learning curve. Suggestion is to let everyone hit everything in sort of a free for all and then the judges narrow it down to the finalists.. Our friends down from Bristol commented on the "slow going". It's one thing to have the USASA format for thier comps and another to try and apply that to a Jam. I think the CMS influence needs to be toned down for the "informal" events. Post season comp.....

ever thought of landings steeper than 20 degrees?
-
Wrong again, because you must know something that I don't and that CB will have a park worthy of a lift ticket comparitively to other hills in our area. AM I CORRECT?
-
Thats about as wishful thinking as them building and maintaining a quality park worth a lift ticket comparitively to other hills around here.

-
Hmmmm strange, no replies? What are the divisions?
-
Ridge, Nips and I will be there.

Back on topic. Pics from yesterday.

How come posts like this weren't made during the season? It will be long forgotten next year.

I think it was $10 but you got a lift ticket for the following season. Everything you ever wanted to know about last years' BB Rail Jam http://www.paskiandride.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4510

no..... and yes. hahaha.. Slower paced than what I am used to? With CB setting up 3 or features, there will be plenty going on. If Billy is overseeing the organization, it will flow well. Nips hasn't been to any comps at CB other than a USASA last season. He did the Buckmans Jam that CB sponsored and won the skier division, but none of the others due to conflicts. ah.... yep.. We both are fairly obvious and easy to pick out.

bla bla bla .. all show and no go....
-
CB has just about sucked comparitively to other hills we have done in the same day or day after. If the rail jam sucks comparitively to other comps we have been to, then yes, in the spirit of constructive critisism, I will complain. I expect you to come up and introduce yourself Friday. TROLL! WORD Start?

I beg to differ. If you are into park, it is really nice to return to BB
-
Nope not till someone does an in depth exit poll from people who visit there.

#1 needs clarification:
-
send an email to sales@skicamelback.com to vote for the battleship rail up-flat-down to be added to the jam.
