Alex is Erics cousin and at the grand old age of 14 is tearing up the FS scene. 50% of the trails are closed at PC but Kings Crown is open. I have seen the word Whistler intertwined with both Future Stars and Shootout. It's confusing since the criteria for qualifying for each of these series of races is very buried if it even exists at all. I think the way this regional race works is that it is a qualifier for the whistler event. I really don't know. That race was described by USSA as the Future Stars Shoot Out for an example.. BTW the top kid ripped everyone by a whole second. jeeeeez.

Much better choices Ash! That steeper section at the Stevenson lift should be next perfect for a decent in-run. The 40' rail will separate a lot of people just spinning on and over the boxes. My vote would be for the up flat down "battleship" rail.

the question was/is, How long can they stay open. Assuming it takes snow to stay open, I believe they have enough to be able to stay open until May. Now, question is will enough people show up and pay $25 for tickets to make it worthwhile?
