What????????????????? no CB report? oh... still thinking about a tenure there, I guess...

Funny how they advertise and "F" for families..

I was at CB saturday morning for first powder tracks and no other reason. The pipe and trees around the pipe were good saturday morning. SO that you can know - go into my stats and review each time we were at CB for condition comments. I bought season passes based on thier advertising of "competition ready pipe" and the indications that they were going to have a progressive park worthy of passes. even little boulder cut thier pipe on Saturday. I "hate" on CB because they ripped us off and I don't want anyone who is looking for a park to go thier with positive expectations. I don't believe for a moment that anyone at that resort who is involved with the park is proud of it. If they are, well............... why? he is right and you are wrong for calling him out. Thats why I am asking you on who you think is qualified to talk crap on CB's parks.

In your opinion, how often do you have to be at CB and how many other parks to you have to go to be allowed to talk shit? How many other parks have you been to this season? If there is someone who is going to pay a day rate and they want to know about the park at CB. Then please explain to me why anyone (who is park oriented) should waste thier time and money at CB for a park? What is the set up there? Got any current pictures? Was the pipe ever cut this weekend?

Rebuilds start on Wednesday. Look for some really nice park only stuff after the snowmobile races next weekend.

They are shut down when there is limited usage due to things like snow, ice, rain, fog, wind. Have that actually happen and then you will have your reason to fix your aging lifts. I would be happy to sit on the lift for a long time, if I was assured that you would fix the problem. CB has consistently wasted many hours of our time traveling. Sitting stuck on the lift is small price to pay in comparison to what you guys cost me in time and money this year. He is thinking a little larger. The hotel expansion is huge. This is the one consistent factor that is in direct correlation with all of CB's closure and is a fact. They just use weather as a guise...

considering the park at CB ? yes... it reaps what it sows.

you know what? now that I think of it.. avoid the weekend crowds, travel up to snowbasin or powder mtn. do snowbasin on a bluebird day and look over the ridge for one hell of a memory point.

who is going to remember all of this preseason next year?

wow... caution everyon.. they close the pipe because of fog and it is real foggy right now. they also close because snow is coming and it looks to be snowing, just stating the facts on previous closures, would want anyone to get burned..

maybe I don't know enough about the Piche's but the way it has been explained to me by some other race parents was not to bother with it in comparison with the sno mtn race on the same weekend.

Uhhhh.. all of the competitors had 2 radio station and 1 TV interviews as part of the comp hype. Most of the competitors are 17 all the way to 22 years old so it was natural for the interviewer to ask "what kind of work to you do"......

representing is a figure of speech, sno is his home mountain, when people ask. In all of the interviews they were asked that. I would think that was rather hard for him to do since he was just basically fired from there so that he could be at that event. picture it. EDIT: it was a poor choice of words on my part in an earlier post.

Thats rather antagonistic.. so, if boulder wasn't staying open late you think that every one else would still be announcing late closing dates?

The debate last season was that if one place stayed open late that all the other would try and stay open. Since Boulder has been the first to say mid april, the rest are following suit.
