  1. Yes!!! absolutely!! Ski911 I want to add (incase you missed a previous post) that I think you are a good guy albeit brainwashed from 20 years at CB but a good guy - thanks for hanging in here and contributing. This is golden and should be memorialized - so well said Glen. I am copying this to my notepad.
  2. http://www.saminfo.com/events/cutters.php come on... ask them what the optimum landing angle is for a jump, and ski911.... I eat and breathe all things park - your groomers are absolutely clueless or they are sticking it to you with BS. how is that for negativity?
  3. Good post timeless...
  4. Obviously I have a tremendous amount of power and all the people who hate parks must love me because you said this. or was that some kind of tatic to get me to shut up? You guys are only open for 3 more weekends any how, so why are you even bothering now... I think you are bothered by my "tone" more so than you are about what you can do to help improve things. make sense?
  5. oh get over it.............. learn the lingo......... check out the BC threads.... you know what BC does when things get like they were last week? They had a public forum to have the kids come and express thier concerns in person. Does CB have the balls to do that? do they care enough to let the kids speak?
  6. Your attitude reeks of what is wrong at CB - I happen to not be shy and am loud and vocal with what is wrong with your parks. If you look over years of posts you will see a resounding negativity. You talk about safety and then say it is because of my attitude you won't listen to the content or the constructive critisism? Are you blaming your lack of progress in the parks due to my posts? WOW!!!! I never knew I had so much power. LOL!
  7. OMG - you are a ( fill in the blank ) so, to use your style of thinking... all of your accomplishments with racing are on a level of what? passing kindergarten? Congrats on 32nd? are you just trying to, what? so who is the tool now?
  8. hahahaaaa - yeah for sure, check out NBC on the 25th for an hour long special at 1pm EST for one of my kids. or salomon jib academy or Killy nextsnow finals or Tahoe for Jeeps' terrain park national finals or the VT open or maybe PC on spring break. thanx for the prompt!
  9. good 1
  10. so let me understand something - the way this message board works is that I give my opinion on CB repeatedly and then that allows you to make personal derogatory posts about me because of my posts ? so who is spreading garbage? ***** news flash! accept that CB's parks suck and that people will always say that until they don't - Until then - use the ignore button and don't read my posts if they bother you that much.
  11. wow ------ tough crowd in here...
  12. Hey, you're taking 2 minutes away from adjusting thier sag, or getting rid of goggle gape or claiming which hit they are going to get nastiest on.. I will never forget the ass chewing I got for waxing a set of skis one night for a kid with dried out bases that over shot a jump the next day, it was all my fault. (don't waste your breathe ski, 90% won't listen and the 10% who do wax will never admit it) i hear you either love them or you hate them at sno... weird?
  13. WTF? Two sided? Stating the obvious. You guys know you haven't changed much in the last few weeks (not that you need to) and that that rail is still unrepaired... (not that you don't have dozens of others) - YOU HAVE MAIL!
  14. this photo will have to do until I have something uploaded. 4th ski from the left.
  15. I believe these to be next years ski. Almost priceless in value, because no one has them yet that I am aware of. They have a grind plate in the center, they come with matched Atomic bindings which look like Salomon Z12 but are labled as Atomic 472. Nips won them at the Buckman's Rail Jam - I am betting that it isn't cool to even offer these for sale. I posted a thread on NS first and now here since I would like to see them go to someone who will appreciate them for what they are. $500 to start seems like a deal to me. If someone reads this that is with Atomic - if these can be traded for next years twin in a 155cm to 160cm ski then lets talk. Thanks!
  16. good to hear you guys are stepping it down and up!! How are your crowds? It's not boulder - but it does look nice.
  17. This is a picture of 7 springs pipe.
  18. NOW SEE!!!!? That is what I am talking about.
  19. I just clicked... Yesterday while doing my gaper routine, I watched the JFBB development team. There was a fun atmosphere there also. As I watched them, I was approached twice by people asking who those kids were. I recently read an article about the need for more teams.. From a nastar standpoint, maybe letting people know how you can go online to the Nastar website and form a family and friends team will help start the ball rolling more towards getting people involved in the coaching aspect???
  20. flat down flat = circus rail? or are you making fun of the colors?
  21. If they give just enough away, they can have a whole new crop of addicts...
  22. it's a ghost typing that report.... he really didn't survive.......
  23. Strange to see that stat, the more I think about it the more it rings true. The Irony is that the pass holders expect so much more but are probably the highest maintenance and the lowest return, so therefore the hardest to deal with. talk about double edged swords. interesting....... so are people with more than one pass, twice as hard to deal with? and to think, we almost had 3 passes this year. !!!~!!!!
  24. Thats a tough one. I think it takes someone who loves the sport enough to offer advice, someone whose skin is thick enough to deal with whatever repsonses they get to unsolicited advice. It takes some like you, Ski. When there are leaders who step up, there are bound to be followers. It needs (IMO) to be handled almost like a recruitment, unfortunatly (using CB as an example) whenever I took Ridge there, I never felt welcomed and often, it felt like the starters were too bothered to have to man the course. Where as BC had/has a great enthusiastic announcer that creates an air of "fun" which in turn leads to people chatting with each other. I don't think that Nastar will ever be in any position to have someone on a course to help coach.. However, I do think that the ski teams could do more to have involvement and thereby offering advice. Of course, I can imagine that CB and all of its analness would never allow its employees to have that type of exposure to liability. BTW Ski, you may be proud to know this. Prior to Ridges joining of the USSA - Montage was the only Nastar course that had people who came up and talked with Ridge, myself and his mother about him and wanted to know where he raced at 3 seasons ago. I forget their names, but I remember that that left a lasting positive impression. I think I made mention of it in a thread way back when in '05
