ski911 is a good guy toast, I just think he is just a little misled into believing that CB knows what it is doing with thier parks or what is going on. I don't think he realizes the safety aspect of just how poor the jibs and jumps are at CB. I offered a ticket and time to him, but he either missed my offer or is not interested or doesn't have the time.

Does park crew like this set up and agree with the guy in charge?

It's a jump silly, with a rail to gap over to a flat landing. It's only for experts though, you need a park pass.

I wish I had a camera that morning, and then a recorder of what was said. I am sorry ski911 - but you and others are really clueless when it comes to park maintenance, set ups or what ever you want to call it. Suggestion: get the guy who is charge of the park crew out there every day then. Of course I am sure that we were there the one day he was off, got sick, had a flat tire...........

funny - cause I thought I missed hearing the news when I was told last Friday.. I won't lie, I am a bit concerned. However word is, that JFBB was having the best season ever, even before it got cold. On the other hand... The only thing they really need, is double the lighting. It is up to the crews and snowmakers that are there already to do the same and better work than they did this year. While I am on it. BB - It looks like you guys are cruising... nothing new in the last few weeks???? You have a had a month to repair the handrail. just an observation.

Just think - there was no snow at BC a few weeks ago... I saw CB's parking lot full at 10am like I have seen before........

Just a quick reply. The really cool thing about Nastar is the commaraderie. BC is where most of our Nastar experience is and it seemed that every one open to talking about thier runs. But Yeah, seek out the pacesetters and the die hard Nastar fans, they have all seemed eager to take a look and share tips. Keep this thread alive... good thread ski!

Yeah - what is ironic is the Billboards that say "Come up for Air" someone dropped the ball in replacing Keith or something else really changed. We were there on Saturday.

CB needs a qualified park designer/builder slash groomer to comliment the park pass.

A week ago - park crew told me that they were not allowed to maintain-rework the lip or landings to the jibs in Rhodo. FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if I hear one more person complain about 10's and 12's who doesn't do them themselves, I am going to scream from a lift at every sloppy corked 5 for them to throw a 10

Based on JFBB's performanace this season - I say this is a ggod deal, especially if you are park focused. The best deal is for those that wish they had gotten a pass at JFBB - even more so considering a likely late season. Hope to see some new faces out there! JUmp on this if you are one of those people who wants to ride after your mountain closes.
