I had to step away and take a breathe cause the coincidence is too ironic. Glenn at the time you were posting I was browsing Zauggs website, trying to figure out how I could link to the dimensions of the suggested drop in also in reference to the question posed about the order of calling your drops and then I read your post. http://www.zauggamerica.com/resort/pipegroomers/pipe.shtml I guess I feel bad for Craig now. I am betting that he is simply doing his job to hype up the info given to him, not knowing what we know. He and his team do a great job of hyping stuff up, it's not his job to see the representations through. No, there is someone or a couple of people to specifically blame for poor judgement. They know all the right things to say, but I am really starting to question the compentacy of the building staff there. Here again. The Jib Lab guys first contacted CB last fall and then ended up at BB - as far as I know they are still available. Wait......... you didn't have to watch a video? they had me show proof of ID

naaaaaaa, its good to see you stoked after such a long wait.

Oh contrare.... I think they are listening thats why there is such a heavy park influence. They could use another park - another beginner park in the style that CB has to capitalize on all the ski school peeps IMO With some additional rebuilds, I believe that there will be more of a park migration to BB next season, especially if they have an extended season this year. BB is doing the right thing - Freeriders should head for Frost, besides that hill rides twice as big as BB anyhow. The other option is park passes for the trail they have with jumps and rails in them.

saturday night into sunday night was above freezing

a little off topic, anyone know what race was at BB yesterday, it looked like all little wee folks. The crowd was loud cheering the tykes on.

we will be in Steamboat next weekend. sorry. ohhh we arent new faces !!

In all fairness, I can picture someone who wants to go into the park who didn't know about the new pass system and has to "waste time" off the slope to get signed up. On the other hand, I would think they would be stoked to know that they are going to get more of a quality experience once signed up.

I HATE THE STEPS IN FRONT OF THE PARK

Hey Teacher! Leave them kids alone! Its not about entitlement. It is all about safety, primarily the jumps. Next time you are out, buddy up with some of the talented park rats who are waiting to drop in. Ask them if they want some help in spotting/holding the jump. Learn the X and O sign at the knuckle and you will quickly find out how hard it is to give an all clear sign or how hard it is to prevent "cut offs". Your comment is clearly from someone who has not spent any time in the park. your a girl!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought you smarter than that. I would be happy to help carry a girl's skis. What is it, the Bob factor? Have him carry them. Sheeeeesh -
too much shivering and your 0 was really a 9???

Ironically, I posted this picture in another forum to solicit comments. This is a comment that was made prior to the pipe being opened: All the comments that I see above directly translate to the "not Ready for Competition" level that I saw on Sunday. Are YOu going to bring up the "quality" of the pipe CB?... I asked preseason, who was running the Zaugg. Here again, I hope your not resting on the Laurels that you have a large pipe and get it corrected quick. You don't have weather to blame now or then. If you need references for some pipe builders who know what they are doing and can spot inadequacies from a photo prior to opening then let me know.

Well, I saw Park Crew in action at CB explaining to patrons at the top of the gate, who knows what... The pipe looked great for minimal amount of traffic and only skilled people as far as I could tell. What I am interested in is knowing some answers to the questions posed to the Park Crew by people who didn't have passes? I would probably respond "if you don't understand why you need a pass then our pass system is working great by keeping people like you out!" so lets hear some great questions and answers!

I think everyone should keep speaking up. Also keep an eye on CB they are supposed to open Rhodo next weekend. First indications are that the pass system worked beautifully! starting a new thread.......... -
I am glad to see you all here too! How come you don't have the mountain rep moniker yet?
-
what did you think? nips said he was only getting one good hit. park passes are working well............

Big Boulder Park Rebuild is on tap for next week. Any suggestions? I am hoping that they go with a channel gap that allows you to transfer. Also - I would like to see the bottom jump made into a triple option sort of jump since it is so wide and since different people like different types of take offs.
-
Keith is available by special request. Confirmed Saturday.
-
Added to the calendar!!
-
It was missing big boulder park. nice edit though.
-
how long have you been riding and how long have you been skiing? You might be the unusual one extremely proficient and talented in all aspects of ski patrolling however, I hope you respect a patrons' wishes like myself, who would not allow you to handle a sled with me in it. You are trained to take a sled down, but do they actually allow you to?

so the signs directing employees to park in a certain area.. are what? a figment of my imagination? Ok Back on topic. Has anyone mentioned PARK PASSES!! I saw them in action today and would like to point out that the attendant at the top of the slope has to explain why park passes are required. I think that is a great way to get the noobs educated!

hahahahaaa - that was written by a person pushing sno, fo sho.......

Camelbacks pipe was beat on sunday. They need to schedule the cutter to recut Saturday night. Couple of people I know said it was nice on Saturday. Sounds like saturday traffic tore it up? Nips said there was only one really decent hit in it, he did however add that it was better than nothing. Hey CB, live up to your marketing in the Camelback Magazine - something about a competition ready pipe all the time........??? I'll have to find it and quote the article another time.

I HATE THE STEPS IN FRONT OF THE PARK
Papasteeze replied to yardsaleclothing's topic in Blue Mountain
hahaha - the blue mountain race team owns all in our area and it sounds like they act like it on thier home slopes. So funny that they are extroverted like that on the slopes but unusually quiet in places like this. as far as closing trails. I think that is the entitlement thing, which is really funny now that I think of that other thread. as you well know racing is expensive, so my thinking has been for all the money shelled out and time put in and the representation, that they feel entitled?
