I think it is great how Camelback lets all the employees park in the spots closest to the lodge first thing in the morning. I wish that Malls did that for thier employees and offered shuttles for the customers who get there after they open.

small doesn't mean anything.... that only means that the other mountain have less firepower per square acre or temps weren't favorable, however I have heard that Bear has the most fire power per acre but temps didn't cooperate this year. Thats a stat I would like to see marketed. Cubic feet per hour production divided by the acreage. Besides, keep in mind how much snow could have been dedicated to trail coverage if they didn't build all of the jumps and hips.

Camelback has the best varied terrain in our area.

nipples would work on your team!!
-
ah yep... now...... Is there anyone on the east coast with 100% coverage? Keep in mind that they are 100% with all those huge piles of snow that form the jumps, hips, pipe and boardercross trail...

crack the door open and I will throw it open wide. CB mentality towards the customers starts there. Last weekend while in an administrative office at another resort was a large sign reminding employees that they are to park in the second row. neither does people who talk about parking in this thread but since I was quoted... LOL call him out or are you just focused on my responses and not the instigation?
-
Metz, ask for Kieth Dickerson or call ahead and see if he is available. I hired him for Ridge 2 years ago for starting wand lessons he coaches on the CAT team but maybe still does lessons. I think you would like him, he is young and a good instructor. No nonsense type of guy.

Hey Cameltoe, get smart and read the posts above and tell me who steers the threads away? Here... Back on topic. Marjies is just delightful, so well groomed. The scenery is just beautiful and the rangers keep everyone safe. And there is these lifts that go really fast. The cafeteria food is great. The lifties are helpful and ski patrol attentive. Rentals are a breeze and the instructors are skilled with teaching beginners. You should have an awesome time there.

what???? get to Jack Frost early for PASR day are you nuts or do you have to go to CB for some other reason?
-
bc is a big maybe. it takes 90 minutes on a good day due to rush hour traffic.
-
I'll race Metz on twins cause that is the only ski I have now. No weeknights at Blue due to length of travel, maybe BC. more like CB on a weekend although 1-3pm screws up our typical schedule. If Rhodo and pipe opens and Ridge doesn't have a race and steven doesn't have a comp and we aren't west somewhere then he is on!

women and children first and since you are over 21..........................
-
i wasn't at JF but the way it was blowing on saturday most resorts got trails covered a half mile away!
-
hahahaaaa...... so much for smart style and working your way up. LOL! sorry, but that makes me giggle, so ironic. Reminds me of all the hot shots wrecking themselves at the ECC at BB hitting the 60 footer first day out on the snow. anyone there filming?
-
then after you are done with them you can go after a little 12 year old.. to race that is.

PASkiandRide day at JFBB - Jan 27!
Papasteeze replied to ThinkSnow's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
Great Tip.. now I don't have to shame Greg into giving a Ridge a lift ticket. Nips and I have passes already. -
wow ... what part of the fact that Big Boulder met and exceeded all of my and others expectations including the printed ones and Camelback has not? Big Boulder doesn't even have a graded pipe yet they were building one anyhow. keep posting Tom, you are making yourself look really foolish.

ok, how about Rick James loves camelback? ewwwwww thats not a positive thing, damn, my bad.
-
little girl in tahoe in '87 taught us the first thing to do was to ride like you were ready to punch someone. I will never forget that. (it was before wrist guards) LOL!
-
so you admit it? you finally came out? hahahaha... it's all jeffs fault! he stuck chocolate in my peanut butter. When is the next race and why in the hell is Bode skiing better this season?
-
Always always if you are going to pay for private instruction interview the ski school desk for a compatible instructor. Quite often the desk has not been able to provide answers and the ski school director has come out and got things situated. My kids always take at least one lesson a year, while it becomes harder each year to find good instruction, I have always found the best instructors available for them, you just need to ask for them.

My ski shop had a box of scraps and I melted them all together and made bricks for every so often cleaning, waxing and summer storage. 15 billion different steps for race skis. I tend to stick to holmenkols methods and waxes since I still have a stock, I cork Dr D's flouro on race day and intend on migrating to all his products when current supplies are used up.

Put links in your message directly to the deals. I believe that deals for snow related items/activities are welcomed and encouraged here. Announcements and reports all good info!

interesting that there are 30 views and no comments. why does your school epxerience sound and feel so similar to other customer services?

boy oh boy, you are quickly joining the ranks and likes and intelligence of the new CB clan, don't get out much do ya?
