  1. huh? you are weird!!! you didn't bother taking a pic? wha... post your winning picture.. asssssssssss. wasssup ben!
  2. I tend to disagree.. Everyone of you who thinks it is ALL about style, please show me that you can throw the 9's, 10's and 12's and then I will back off my opinion. Yes............... I would much rather see clean 5's and 7's with stylish grabs, but I also like the really fast spins, besides you have to learn to spin then become comfortable enough to learn to grab.
  3. props dude.. you are fun to watch!! Ignore the spin to win debate and have fun..
  4. and real 50-60 footers lol...
  5. No insurance conventions this week or last week unless it is something small, nothing that I could find quickly on a state level either. must be along a similar line or something.................. http://www.naifa.org/newsevents/events.cfm
  6. hey! great to see you here.. should be some good times! let the torment rip!
  7. I bet that we want it to be better more than you do I sometimes get wierd premonitions.... wait for it.... I got this hunch that is nagging me, if I say then it won't happen, but it is on the good side of things park wise for cb -- damn I hope I didn't say too much. BTW... A huge welcome! is in order. Welcome SkiCamelback to PASR!
  8. good if not a great point. Immediately upon opening BB had a problem with poachers, that seems to me an indication that there has been an abuse going on for awhile. BTW fluffy - you have the wrong home mountain listed in your profile.
  9. sorry... my bet is that they need more cubic footage of snow to fill thier base and opening trails due to the amount of stuff underneath and peculiar grading. that whole lazy river must eat up a lot of snow, I know they fill it with barrels before they blow but still................
  10. Tell me Mr Red Coat, have you seen him? I thought he went to the Caymans.
  11. Since the weather played havoc with master plans for the big park, I thought I would create a thread for people to express some ideas. I would like to see the bottom jump made into a triple choice type of jump. The trail and runout appears to be large enough to support it and I think it would help with progression skills and speed issues.
  12. word... one particular midget needs to drop that silly parachute steeze..
  13. Well.................? can anyone who reads this, shed some light on a rumor? Not that it is anyone's business, I am curious, where has he been the last 2 weeks?
  14. Just refreshing this thread.
  15. word... it really sucks that we have so many motivated talented people in our region and then what happens?
  16. I don't think that is accurate. The problem is more with the terrain and the way it is layed out. The have to make so much snow just to cover thier lazy river that it is ridiculous. Also, I am not positive, but it appears that the way the trails are graded they have to make more snow to bring trails level than JFBB or Blue which has trails open straight down the fall line. I am betting that thier average cubic foot
  17. hahaha relax.. he is with Buckmans. Johnny is a good guy!
  18. OK.... now I am getting a picture... Our area does not have an accredited freestyle SKIING program. I was amazed at Okemo to see the turnout for the USSA Slopestyle event last Saturday. I am biased towards skiers. I noticed some things, minor things in grand scheme of a really sick event that should be pointed out. Twin Tip skiing is the fastest growing segment of the snow market right now. In an open plea................ Billy, please respect the skiers, get up to speed and tailor your porgram to fit everyone. BTW, that announcer on top of the Red Bull truck..... If he laughed at one more skier wrecking on the bottom jump........... Closing that bottom jump when the BB staff was on it, tweaking it twice before the comp started was just plain lame... I think it was closed because only a very few snowboarders had the skills to hit it. Maybe not, I didn't watch that jump the whole event, I just heard all the comments later. Not that this observation is the be-all to end-all.. but I have witnessed a reoccuring trend in the younger freestylers.. The NextSnow event which is for 13 and under is the best indicator of what is happening.. Every qualifying comp that Nips has been in (12) has had snowboarders outnumbering skiers 2 to 1, yet in the finals, skiers outnumber riders 2 to 1.
  19. I tried... he is unflappable...
  20. I appreciate that, thank you. I intend to get a computer dedicated just for video, all of my computers are outdated and have issues with one thing or another. With the new VX and Adobe software, it doesn't make sense to not start clean with new processors and hardware.
  21. Thanks Johnny!!! That helps a lot. Does he also hold the reigns on the accredition for judges and coaches level certifications?
  22. JFBB.. has the snow and has really stoked and proud employees in this rather dismal winter. The Pocono's are well known for being great with kids. There is great information in this thread. Best advice is to call ahead and get all the information you can. My kids learned at Shawnee at 2 & 3 years old, but that was 10 years ago.
  23. hmmmmm... well.......... from an outsider just starting to look within competitive freestyle in our area, I want to say more, as I stare at this screen I think I will hold my thoughts for now and say that there must be a reason why he has stepped up to the plate to lead that organization.
