unic, so you and others know this. they have been blowing just enough snow each night to keep things acceptable while still trying to get tubing open which helps them make money. as soon as it gets cold enough to blow more than just a few hours Big Boulder trail will open and there will be an entire rebuild to both parks. With a good cold spell expect big boulder trail to be the one that everyone talks about. Drop your suggestions as to boulderpark@jfbb.com that will get to the right people, they appreciate all input. a lot of bb people read this board however an email will work better for them to print out and consider your suggestions.

excellent point.. rails determine skill levels. boxes are for learning rails.

For CB's sake, that would be a smart move, if they have beginner boxes.................. oh nevermind. LOL

stay away from big Bouulder, they never opened thier park and there is really thin cover..... jack frost is equally as bad

I have been up here at Northridge watchingall week plus, it's not rocket science. to have frost ( high Humidity) on the ground but the ground is not frozen compared to nights where the ground was frozen but no frost and you guys didn't blow.. Other mountains blew those nights.. I am at the same elevation and I also watch what the other hills are doing and you guys did not blow every oppoptunity that you could including christian holidays. If it christmas was really that important to CB then they would not have been open on christmas day. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I get it. since they attract such a (asssuming) non -christian clientel, then it was profitable for them to open on christmas.

Just so everyone knows who reads this. Camelback did not blow snow on nights that they could have the last week. THey blew last night in super marginal temps.

Hang around here at PASR if you want the straight scoop, there are plenty of people I have talked to that are saying that JFBB has better snow than anywhere all the way up to NH!! Is that your version of crowd control? LOL! anybody in the know.... knows that JFBB are in the best shape. especially if you are into park... all the skilled BC Crew have been at bb loving it!

nice picture of those boards leaning up against locks, what if someone wanted to use the that lock? Would you be pissed if they moved your board and used the lock? How ABOUT THE FREE SKI CHECK AT BIG BOULDER............. C'MON KIDS, get a clue!! it sucks that your board was stolen, but it also REALLY SUCKS that you don't have a few quarters to lock them up, or cable lock or are too freakin lazy to walk 20 steps over to FREE SKI CHECK... I don't feel so bad for you..

The mountain dew thing frequently has jams associated with thier races. Strange that there is not more info, on the other hand Boulder was/is getting crowded. shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Register in the morning, not sure what time they start the race but you get one run, MD throws a lot of swag out to all the different categories. It is of Nastar caliber or easier. It is on the Big Boulder trail, should be a fairly fast course.

That is the driving reason the Jib Lab guys wanted out of MC. oh! whats with the girl I saw at BB Tuesday with the Pinky hat saying how great MC is. weird how loyal people are to thier home mountains.

That sounds like the same woman who asked my kids if they had a good time and why they were stopping early, she looked puzzled when they just stared at her. I apologized that they got 70 days on the snow and that they had to ski at CB in the mornings and that we were headed to "BB" That guy can't be flustered, I have done my best. Yeah he is cool and is always level headed IMO. Yeah, training, I heard that Bullshit last season about revamping customer service blah blah blah. A freakin lift ticket? a ticket? Gimme an f'n break. Since your girl would be skiing for free anyhow, they should give her and you a photo pass for the season so there is no more hassle, plus she will have a great souvenier. After all CB is not your home mountain. Passes are the only thing that is fair. a lift ticket, jeeeeez craig, you are the marketing director, smarten up!

hahaha... you were out last season. he was throwing his first nines at this time last year. switch seven and corking is where he is now.. BTW - the SPK's are really helping keep him out there and on the slope. sorry to all those who hate my claiming. LOL

Presumably.... yeah I fell for that last year. that administrator I have met personally. he is 100% lip service and has that soothing gift of gab unlike the last marketing directors at CB. Coincidentally, some friends from his previous home mountain verified his persona. For all the grief I have put that guy through, he apparently doesn't even have the clout to toss a bone to get a customer to shut up.

Excellent thread! thanks to everyone who posted. If anyone wonders why I have been winding it up on the CB board, now you know! It starts with silly little stuff like allowing all thier employees to park in the upper lot. LOL! It's the stupid little things compounded that irk me. People in the know are telling me that it is the middle management who has been there for eons is the problem.

is it worth driving up just for the park? LOL! it is the only park that has anything decent for hundreds upon hundreds of miles around. Mullen and crew were there tuesday, I saw him and crew back on Wednesday. BB Park is supposed to release a new edit every thursday on thier website. Maybe it will be up before you have to leave.

even if your kid is at, or even a little above the heighth, that really stinks. I can't believe that a customer service mgr or whatever mgr it was would be that insensitive, especially to a kid, however it doesn't surprise me. I always worry that I am going to have to produce ID for Ridge who stands nearly as tall as me for the 12 and under ticket, I have NEVER had anyone ever question me.

I have seen 3 new rails they are really wide rectangular steel.

I have seen the crew at BB asking people what they thought. They are very attentive.
