who is the local talent that is in the commercial? 70 footer.. hahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaa
-
Thats the same crap they are feeding me dude... Problem is, that if it were really true they would have announced it by now. Keeping secrets does nothing for ticket sales. You were told that to settle you down. I took that kind of bait too... either announce what you were told or chalk it up as bullshit... Dead give away on why I think I am right... did they ask you to keep it to yourself? did you ask why? The only thing I am aware of that they haven't announced is their sponsorship of the 3 event series, One in Bethlehem, one at CB and one at Buckmans parking lot however those dates are on their calendar, just no press release yet.

WORD... having the distinct advantage of traveling back and forth between BB and CB. I am totally convinced that if CB had done what BB did they would not be in the position they are. I can also tell you this. BB has been blowing on nights when CB did not, the temps were the same, I doubt the humidity was any different. The only thing I can speculate on is that the water temps must have been different. THen again.. BB was the first to blow snow in our area many years ago, so maybe they just know a little more about how to get it done.

Big Boulder gets some love from Mount Snow
Papasteeze replied to vtboarder's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
Ah yep......... Big Ben who just got back from Killington is also saying that BB is set up better than killington. HAH! Spread the Love! -
If this is "theee boyer" who rode with my kid last xmas eve at BC........ then DO NOT MESS AROUND WITH CB, you will be severely disappointed however, if skiing for free is your thing then I am thinking that the coverage will be minimal at best with the 3 runs they have now freshened up. The beginner park is really a beginner park. I doubt there is any way they can get the expert park open for xmas unless they point all thier fire power on that run down to the triple that serves raceway. Suck it up find $46 bucks and come over to BB on xmas eve, you will be thrilled with the park features there

Good point.. They should have 2 of them at a minimum.. What the sign says is basically that every slope at Big Boulder will contain some type of "park Feature" and that the green, blue, black ratings are not to be used for rating the difficulty of those features. It goes on to say that each person who uses the facilities at Big Boulder should become familiar with park or something like that... uh oh... I have read it several times and can't quote it.

wow and I thought Breckenridge was the easiest Nastar course ever. Nastar is the best racing program out there. It is fun and it challenges you to progress. You can do any course anywhere and I always run up with others who are equally stoked about going fast around gates. Never any pressure to perform never any expectations.

justin, from a reputable source first hand.. BB is set up and in better shape than Killington right now.
-
What was gurp saying last night? I watched him and nipples clean it several times. Nipples had more trouble with the 5" flat bar in the beginner park.. Interesting, I wonder if the set up changed since saturday?
-
Justo - can you confirm or deny?
-
loller blades!!!!!!!!!! They did!!!!!!!!!! it was posted........... on that 3x6 sign in the middle of the sidewalk .............. which is actually a great point if no one is reading it........
-
Posting like that makes you look silly.. You obviously haven't ever ran Nastar at BC have ya? Oh nevermind.... question for you off topic, do you have anything supportive to say about BC?
-
naaaa.......... mad steezy mo fo booter photo ops
-
And do you know that for a fact? Oh yeah thats right. You know every twist and turn of thier race course and know all the people who use BC because you race it regularly. That was a rude thing to say. what? do you think if you bad mouth Bear that they will comp you a ticket? you have been hanging around doug too much. There is a whole new race venue planned for this year. Expect BC to ratchet the race program up several levels. Mark-BC is a former racer, you can expect him to a great job working with what he has. Last year he had an open forum to discuss the expansion plans and to get feedback from the Racing crowd. I think I was the only PASR'ian in the attendance.

Big Boulder planned to blow a dusting as of 11pm. they also blew some saturday night.

DID YOU GUYS read the first notice that is in large type on the 3 foot by 6 sign in the middle of the sidewalk as you walk to the slope? HAHAHA didn't think so. Warnings don't apply to park rats do they? hahahahahahahahaa Read that sign silly people!!!!!!!!! Looks like a little bit of snowmaking last night, and then 2 more nights are coming. Unfortunately it doesn
